About Chelsea FC
Founded and still located in Fulham, London, The United Kingdom, Chelsea Football Club is one of the most storied and successful clubs in all of soccer. Competing in England's Premier League, the team was founded over a century ago but has found its greatest period of success within the last twenty years. Since 1996, Chelsea Football Club has obtained 17 major victories, including five League Cups, seven FA Cups and five league championship titles. They're also the only British football club to have won all three primary Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) club contests.
The team in white and blue claims home to Stamford Bridge stadium in Fulham, which boasts at 41,600-fan capacity— perfect for filling with roaring Chelsea supporters.
Chelsea Football Club's $1.37 billion valuation makes them one of the most valuable sports teams in the world, and their average season home match attendance is one of the highest in the league.
The club was first founded in 1904 when a man named Gus Mears bought Stamford Bridge stadium and decided that he'd better create a team to play in it— and thus the Chelsea Football Club was born (Fulham already was the namesake of a local team, so Mears went with Chelsea, a neighborhood nearby.
Since its establishment, Chelsea FC has become one of the most legendary names in European football. Find tickets to see this iconic club compete while you can!
