The hotel was extremely comfortable and quiet. It would have been really useful if someone had given me direction on how to get there because I ended up being scammed by a taxi for 35 Swiss francs to travel 1 km when I could have easily taken the bus for 3 francs if I’d known. Otherwise, the hotel had great service and great rooms.

Nice enough hotel for a quick and economical stay. It's quite far from the airport though. The shower drain in our room was partially clogged which led to some flooding, but the staff found us another room.

The hotel itself was pleasing and some staff were very helpful and knowledgeable while others acted like it was their first day on the job and they knew nothing about the area. My family spent almost $80 CHF to look for some place to eat when ended with us on the street at the back of the hotel at a greek restaurant. The employee who checked us in claimed there were no restaurant near the hotel. More over the hotel resturant claimed they could not accommodate a family of 6 people after 8pm. VERY DISAPPOINTING

Have been traveling for a month and this was the worst check in we had. I think the staff at the front desk have the belief that it was our privilege to stay at this property. There was one person ahead of us and one person at the check in. As I lined up she said to me, “please go sit down and when I am ready I will call you.” Sat there for about 10 more minutes and I was then “blessed” to be checked in. The first thing she said without any greeting or anything was, “This is a non smoking hotel.” I said it doesn’t matter as I don’t smoke. With this she said, “well how am I to know that”. I thought wow….here we go. At completion of check in she said if we wanted to check in now as it was 1230 it would be 30 CHF. She had already assigned our room as it was written in the key holder jacket. I asked if our room was ready and she said yes but would be 30. This is nothing but a cash grab. In our month of travelling we checked in early half the time and never were charged. This was 2.5 hours early than check in. I said that we would leave our bags. Then I wheeled my bags to the end of the counter. There were now four staff members there and none of them were with guess. Totally ignored for two minutes until I said, can I get some service” instead of apologizing they tried turning it on me for being impatient. They need some training in verbal judo. Worse service ever at a check in from a traveler to more than 50 countries. Rooms were great though ….just expect rudeness.
