Good location but hotel feels outdated
Well located hotel and staff are good/helpful. The hotel itself is showing its age and needs to be refurbished. Whilst beds are good, rooms look old and bathrooms are unusual! Breakfast has a good selection but surprised that the bar never opened on a Saturday night.

great location on the lake
the window view facing the lake is amazing. the room is nice, comfortable . the bikes are very old and many of them were difficult to get the kickstand to move. the breakfast was typical asian fare. right on the bikepath so nice area to walk and hangout.

Property is ok. Spacious room and nice view of lake. Bathroom shower is spacious but old looking as it needs to be caulked. Need a better breakfast spread as mostly vegetables. The men’s bathroom should be closed as not a nice sight to see men washroom as walking to breakfast area each morning. Asked to seat far away from bathroom hallway.

Great experience. Parking was easy right across the street. Very clean and convenient to everything. Breakfast was delicious with plentiful options. The kids enjoyed the arcade room and their tatami room bed. Staff was very helpful and arrived right away to help us with the bed when we requested it. We especially enjoyed the free bikes with children’s seats - it was so easy to bike along the boardwalk right outside, and our sons are already asking to go back.

Enjoyed my one night stay at Sun Moon Lake Hotel. It’s right on the edge of the water next to the bike path. Hotel provides free bikes as well. Complimentary breakfast & they provide a 100 ntd coupon for dinner buffet. Loved the tub in the room. Will be back!
