Cute 100 year old lodge on Twin lakes in Mammoth lakes California. Great vacation in the mountains spot. Room for 2 in main lodge small but met our needs. Wi fi and cellular very spotty even in the room; restaurant good but ridiculously expensive for the area with Entrees starting at $50 and cocktails all over $20.
I like a communal settings. I shared a very clean bathroom with others in my floor. Downstairs have a dining area. Have tire chains or all-wheel drive during the snowy season. When it snows, it is beautiful and scary at the same time.
Stayed up in the lodge room with my 6 year old son. First father son fishing trip and this room was perfect for us. We slept so comfortable.the shared restrooms were never an issue. Great staff and so overall comfortable. Cant wait to come back
Beautiful old (celebrating their centennial in 2024!) lodge and cabins, right on Lake Mary. Gourmet restaurant in the lodge. Clntinental breakfast delivered to your cabin, or eat in the Victorian lobby. Very helpful office staff.
Overall the stay was great and the staff was great as well! I think his name was Bruce.
However you guys should really invest in better mattress for bed because our backs were dying. I wasn’t aware of a shared bathroom and shower with everyone else. There’s no kitchen, the only food is service that uou have to order or restaurant. The room is pretty small and only has a bad, storage, small table and chair, and sink.
My wife and I love Tamarack Lodge, and we go there often. However, this time we noticed that the carpets were very dirty even though they were vacuumed , the carpets need to be washed and deodorized other than that we had a wonderful time as usual.
