Seasonal Road Closure Notice: HWY 120 (Tioga Pass) generally closes for the winter from late October through late June. Daily closures can also occur during periods of inclement weather in spring and fall. The Eastern entrance to Yosemite National Park is located 45 minutes from Mammoth Lakes. Yosemite's Eastern Gate or Tuolumne Meadows is not accessible when Tioga Pass is closed. All other Yosemite National Park entrances are open year round. Overall this was a very nice stay. Tub/shower was dated and spout was loose. Very pleased to have a full kitchen which had plates, cooking utensils, pots pans. There was a dishwasher, electric stove. Coffee pot with filters and coffee was provided. Great coffee by the way! Bed was comfortable. Box fan provided to put in balcony door or bedroom window which is a plus since this hotel does not offer ac. We would stay again.

My daughter and I recently stayed here for a weekend getaway. The resort was lovely. We liked that you couldn't hear the people around you. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed. There is a shuttle stop right outside which was very convenient to get around. The staff were friendly and helpful. We felt safe at night. Would definitely recommend.

Juniper Springs was the best choice for our group traveling to Mammoth. AirBnb and VRBO listings for mammoth, the majority I found had a $5000 incidental fee that they applied to your card during your stay. And the ability for the owners to charge you even for nominal reasons was at their choosing. That did not work for us, as we were traveling to multiple locations over our 10 day trip. The resort was conveniently located. There were actual residents in this condo building. Parking was clearly marked and accessible. The condo had a broken washer and dryer and the washer was actually full of water upon our arrival. We did notice there were a large amount of international travelers during our 10 day trip. There seemed to be a similar theme when we would report issues with our condo/hotel, etc. It did not appear that previous users of the space were reporting things that were broken or not working. Whether that was due to a language barrier or checking out and not disclosing. At Juniper they provided us access to another unit so that we could use the washer/dryer in that unit. Our unit and surrounding area were clean and safe and appeared to be a ski-in and ski-out as it was directly beside the gondola.

Great location, helpful staff. 1 BD condo was just right for 2. There was a problem with the automatic garage door the first day, fixed the next day. Otherwise, a great ppace to stay.
