The pool was one of the main reasons we chose this hotel. We found out you have to pay to use it. This was not disclosed anywhere when we booked. If we we knew, we would had gone to a different hotel. We paid around $90 for one day, as my kids were looking forward for the pool.

Triple rooms here
Was able to book a triple room here, which is perfect because we had three adults. We booked the suite, and it was so large and lovely! Had one and a half bath. We loved the area, it was in Chinatown. We were getting on a cruise ship, and it was an easy walk over to the pier.

Easy access from Haneda airport and minutes away from the Yokohama Chinatown and walkable to Don Quiote's. Very helpful concierge and staff. Room included amenities for a comfortable night, but rooms and decor are a little dated. It could use more outlets.

It was a stop on the bus route from Haneda Airport. There were many dining options and a convenience store nearby. I was particularly impressed with the great service and personal attention of the staff at the reception counter and that of the bell captains. Great experience with Rose Hotel Yokohama! It is an older hotel but very spacious (unlike many hotels in Tokyo or Osaka), located steps away from Chinatown. Most of the staff can speak Japanese, English and Chinese. They were very helpful with our luggage requests and despite only staying for one night, we were thoroughly pleased with the amazing customer service. The staff really helped make our Yokohama stop a fantastic experience.

The Rose hotel is very good value for money and is in central Chinatown if that’s your thing. Unlimited (Chinese) food options and close up the station to explore the rest of Yokohama and greater Tokyo. The hotel is slightly aged but still has its charm with friendly and helpful staff.

The hotel is at a very convenience location, with short walking distance to a beautiful park and ocean breeze. It is near by bus stops and MTR. But the decor is a little old and outdated. The staff is helpful.

There’s pro and cons here for the family. Pros: the location is central to Chinatown. So you walk down you are in the middle of it all. Right adjacent to the front entrance there’s a legit Thai massage. No funny business there. Just around the corner there’s a 3 story store that sells all traditional products, like kimono bags and tea pots and sandals.. love that place. Anyways the hotel is in a great location. Staff are great. The lobby looks nice and smells good. The room itself is a bit dated , beds are firm but heater works good, couldn’t figure out how to work the AC but didn’t need it in the winter, housekeeper are wonderful, bathroom is great water pressure and hot water is great. They also give you little amenities like slippers toothbrush etc it’s awesome. Room is pretty big for Japan. We got two kids two adults it fits us ok
