This apartment complex is extremely well located. Short walk to the public bus that serves both Rockhampton Airport and the Marina to get to Keppel Island (Which is spectacular). It is also a short walk to the Lagoon beachfront public pool which is as grand as any 5-Star hotel.
The apartment itself is extremely well appointed with quality appliances and amenities.
The staff are extremely friendly and considerate.
Highly recommend for singles/families visiting Yeppoon.
Great place overlooking the beach front and close to shopping and super markets. Modern units with everything you need. Also undercover parking. We were running late so rang them and they gave us a code to access the cards to get in.
A beautiful apartment with side view to the water. The apartment was extremely modern with washing machine and dryer within the apartment. Did not need to use the car during our stay given the proximity of all attractions and dining options.
The room design is bad. No door on bathroom or toilet .
Its really a bedsit not a one bedroom apartment. View was not sea view as advertised. Its was sea glimpses .shower has no soap holder or ledge of any kind for soaps or shampoos etc.
Always enjoy my stay…Loved the beautifully appointed room, the bed and pillows etc. 5 star for everything except the parking. Some of the spaces are extremely difficult to access if the car park is full. Particularly if there are long tradie utes that make turning even harder.
The receptionist was very difficult to understand. When we entered the room we found it difficult to breath the air from the musty, mould like smell coming out of air conditioning. Asked receptionist about it and requested service to bring up something to freshen room and no one came. We put up with the discomforting smell for our stay, which was very I pleasant. Was informed only 1 week before stay and after the no refundable period had passed, that there would be works being carried out on surrounding rooms. We arrived at 2 pm and had to leave the room and sit in a nearby park until 5 pm as the Jack hammer was too much to bear. We were told the works would only be on the day we arrived but we heard and seen tradesmen working for the next two days.
Very disappointed for a high end hotel!!
The room we stayed in had a terrible musty smell and as there was no reception open I could not ask for something do be done.
This meant we had to sleep with the balcony door open and no air conditioning on at it was an extremely humid night which meant poor sleep.
Location very good though.
While the staff were very helpful, our holiday was marred by two days of construction noise. We were not advised of the renovation works and we were not offered alternative accommodation. So much for the quiet holiday by the sea which had been keenly anticipated!
Sadly my experience at Salt was sub par. Issues with check-in, room key / fob that didn’t work. Broken toilet, towel racks & air conditioning units that played up. The property needs some love.
