The cabin had no amenities, the bed was uncomfortable, there were few blankets even the night temps were in the 30s, there was little storage space, food service very limited and expensive and our room cost over $300 when it was barely more than a tent.

The $400 /night Cabins were using same decor and furnishings since they were first built, probably 60 yrs ago. Thankfully, they are next to the parking lot with no views.
On the plus side, They were quiet and clean .

Hotel was not open so we were put in a cottage. No WFI, no restaurant. Very tried in general. Broken furniture, coffee pot didn’t work.

We liked the fact that elk were grazing right across the road from the hotel. The room was adequate, but not worth 500$. The food left much to be desired. Staff seemed to not want to be bothered with questions. Would not stay here again
Great to stay in the park. Cabons afre basic with shwer and electric. No Tv.

Disliked: Cleanliness, amenities
Filthy room, urine behind toilet, dust everywhere. Clean sheets, clean towels, but surfaces under desk and table appear to not have been dusted in months. All this for $499 per night!!! Shame on Xanterra. Never again. I will happily drive from a surrounding town to enter the park in the future. And NO DINING ROOM?!?! Thankfully, I bought dehydrated food. Yellowstone is fantastic. Hotel services are the over-priced cost of that beauty.
Staying in the cabin was rustic. Limitations of food opportunities were addressed ahead of time, but did not quite realize the extent thereof. Lobby of hotel was a grand experience and a trip back in time!

under renovation could not enjoy property as pictured and advertised
We stayed for 3 nights in a cabin. Basically two beds and a bathroom. Not even a box fridge or cheap microwave. For the price it should have been much better. Except for the beds there was nothing else. Disappointing. The associated hotel was closed in early September so there was no place to eat except a hotel down the road which had an abysmal dining room with abysmal food. Just a very basic place to stay with a very high price due to no competition .
