wonderful location
Beautiful, remote location in forested foothills. The house is simple, but more than adequate. There was internet, but it wasn't fast enough to support my work video conference calls.

A cottage near outdoor adventures
We appreciated that this cottage had a great location to nearby Moulton and Lucia Falls Parks. We came to explore this area and took a picnic lunch with us as we hiked many trails. We settled on the deck afterwards and enjoyed the sunshine and the music of the vocal birds. This cottage met our needs, and I am still smiling at the "welcoming committee" of the two very friendly dogs who disappeared as quickly as they appeared and were never seen again! Thank you,Jessy for being such gracious host. I enjoyed our communications. You definitely deserve 5 stars. Susan

Nice view, quiet, but lacking in comfort and safety
The view was lovely, the deck great, and a very nice setting. However, the stairs leading up to the house were not safe. The steps were uneven and there was a handrail only along a portion. The oven didn't work, the coffee maker didn't work well, the bathroom was tiny and cramped, and the bed was hard as a rock.

We truly enjoyed our stay at this home. It was peaceful and comfortable. There was an issue with wifi in area and great communication with Property Manager. They even sent message when wifi was back up and running. Great location and perfect for a getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city. We will be back

Comfortable simplicity, pet friendly , country, great star gazing,
This is a pet friendly place, complete with an off leash fenced area. Nice owners. It is in the country, accessible to great places for kids( or curious adults) to explore. In close proximity, On the south side of Mt St Helens, there are Ape Caves, Twin Forest walks, and other sites. There is also Moulton Falls Regional Park for pleasant walks and river dips.

Quick stay while climbing Mount St. Helens
A friend and I stayed at the property for 3 nights while in the area to climb Mount St. Helens. The property was exactly what we were looking for; a nice, simple, no-frills property and location that served our needs very well. Jessy was incredibly quick to respond and even accommodating to make a change to our reservation dates. If you're looking for something off the beaten-path, I highly recommend this property.

Beautiful spot in the country
Very helpful and prompt replies from Jessy who helped make my weekend trip happen, even with a few technical issues with the VRBO app. Place has beautiful views from the deck and you can hear the sound of the small creek in the yard which was very relaxing. There is just enough to help you feel at home without being cluttered, there is a guide book which has a great deal of information about the local area, unfortunately I wasn't able to take advantage of the near by attractions except the amazing hike around the Moulton falls bridge. Will keep this place in mind next time I'm looking to visit the area
