Don’t stay there!
We left the property and didn’t stay it was so awful. The window wouldn’t shut, there was no hot water, no wifi, old box tv with no cable, when they tried to give us a better room it was worse than the one we had. Left and paid double at another hotel.

A/C not working Shower took 23 mins to go from cold to luk warm Lovely young girls at check in Down hill from there Rough squeaky bed Musty smell A/c would only run fan Compressor was broken and kicking on and off No cool air Had to sleep with windows open and didn't feel safe Tv not plugged in cause light was Out dated Booked on way out to east coast Booked on way back for some reason it got cancelled and they wouldn't give us our money back or allow us to stay Just kept the money If they would have worked with us I would have over looked their short comings but do NOT recommend I would have honoured the reservation or worked with the traveller since we couldn't reach the web site to resolve the issue 👎

Stayed at the motel years 15-20 years ago and it was kind of run down, but under new ownership this time it was in good shape and the staff were very pleasant. Clean room, warm shower, great service! We were driving down for a funeral and they even kept the office open after hours for us!

Run-down motel
A run-down motel with little to no ameneties. Had to change rooms TWICE -- first time because the room smelled like an ash tray, second time was because the AC in the room didn't work (had to actually show one of the employees because she didn't believe me initially...). The lights don't work in the rooms; the owners rely on lamps. Hot water takes a while to come on. There are very few outlets to charge electronics; even the one in the bathroom didn't work! If you're just looking for a place to put down for the evening, this passes but i don't recommend a longer stay at this establishment if you're on vacation!

Everyone was very friendly upon arrival. We were excorted to our room were she struggled to open the door. The light switch didnt work but there were two dimly lite lamps. The air was musty and bedding damp. At midnight (and my two family sleeping) I realized the huge black mold patch in room #20 above the bathroom sink to the right. Heat didnt work. Didnt shower due to the mold and safety. I've taken video and pictires for when our road trip is done. Beds were comfy but we brought in our own blankets and pillows. We left 7:15am. Office was locked. Key is locked in the room.

Musty smell and dated rooms. New owners (11 days) when I was there. Definitely have great service and attitude. Worth trying again once they have time to get it up to snuff.

Learnt my lesson
I recently had the misfortune of staying at this hotel, and my experience was subpar from the start. The check-in process was slow and disorganized, with the front desk staff engaging in a lengthy conversation in their native language before attending to me. When I provided my name, they again conferred with each other before assigning me a room. To my dismay, the room contained two double beds, despite my explicit request for a single queen bed. When I brought this to the staff member's attention, she simply shrugged and offered no solution. The room itself was bare-bones, lacking basic amenities like a fridge, coffee maker, and even a restaurant on site (despite the hotel's claims). My partner and I were forced to share a double bed, which was uncomfortable and inconvenient. I'm extremely disappointed in the low standards of this hotel and will not be using hotels.com again.

The Facts
Late booking. Arrived to no reservation, but owner offered to meet Expedia’s discount price if I cancelled reservation and paid cash. Started to dial Expedia and told Expedia never answers. Continued dialling and reservation “found”. At same time I was asked to write name, address, phone number and sign motel letterhead. Agreed to 5% surcharge to use Visa card used to guarantee reservation. Then told that fridges and microwaves can’t be added to standard rooms (Expedia, please alter listing). Owner gained a star for upgrading me to room with fridge to accommodate medication that needed refrigeration. Room also had sofa, tube tv, but no coffee machine or microwave. Hard bed, clean sheets. Owner told me 3 times to leave key on table and curtains open when I left early (?). No mention of wifi or if restaurant was open for dinner or breakfast. It was a long walk to downtown for dinner. Left early in search of coffee. Read all reviews before booking and decided to chance motel. Won’t return because after a long drive, I don’t want to play registration games.

The room was extremely clean but the property is very dated. No fridge, no microwave, internet didn't work. It was the least expensive option in town for the day I was there so for the price it was fine. The check-in process was somewhat peculiar and time consuming but the stay itself was fine.
