Beautifully decorated, this 2 bedroom, 1.25 1st Floor condo sits on the Fraser River. We provide our guests with all the comforts of home (upgraded linens and towels, hair dryers, paper goods, soap and lotion), plus complimentary coffee, tea, hot chocolate and condiments.

2021: New Shower.

2019: New carpet in bedrooms, family room and hall. New 1/4 bath in MBR.

2018: New ceiling, lights, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave and cabinets in kitchen.

This 2 BR condo comfortably sleeps 5 people, but can accommodate up to seven people if pull out couch is utilized:
Master bedroom with queen lodge pole bed, private vanity (1/4 bath) and stackable washer/dryer for small loads. Second bedroom with twin lodge pole beds and an extra twin mattress. There is a leather sectional recliner/sleeper sofa in the living room. Shower and toilet (3/4 bath) are separate from hall sink / vanity (1/4 bath).

Nestled in the pines, overlooking the river with fantastic views of the mountains, this condo is a mere 2 to 5 minute walk to a variety of restaurants and shopping.

Our condo is equiped with a DVD player/VCR player and lots of movies, and three cable TV's plus WIFI. We also have cards, games, and books available for use during your stay.

Full Kitchen-all utensils, including crock pot and pampered chef stones. Wood Fireplace and large TV in living room.

FREE SKI SHUTTLE BUS picks you up right outside building - JUST 2 QUICK MILES to be dropped off RIGHT BY THE SKI LIFTS!

The Recreation/Health Club includes indoor pool, 3 hot tubs, game room (pool table, air hockey, video games, cable TV), locker room, showers, and coin-op (possibly credit card) laundry facilities.
* Entirely Brand new Rec Center opened in 2016!

Seasonal activities include skiing, hiking, biking, snowmobiling, sledding/tubing, fishing, hunting, boating, and golf. Many hiking and biking trails begin right outside condo area.
(No smoking, No Marijuana, and No Drug Use in condo or on property).

Winter Park has Quiet Hours from 10 PM - 8 AM, so NO PARTIES!

Cozy Condo by the River
There may be other fancier units in the Hi Country Haus complex...but this ground level, walk out to the stream, dog friendly unit was just perfect for our family. I loved being able to fly fish with with my boy and my pup just a few steps off the front door! Well be back soon! Thank you!

Hiking in the Aspens
We mainly came to Winter Park to be closer to the Aspens for hiking. The condo served our needs, though my daughter had to go buy a new pillow. We loved having the Fraser Creek/River right outside our door. I would highly recommend it to a friend!

When we arrived, we let ourselves in. Nothing had been cleaned, the coffee pot was still warm and dirty, beds not made, bathroom dirty. One hour or so later, we returned. The kitchen seemed to still be dirty. No clean sponges or scratchers (never did use what was there), clutter everywhere, no space to put clothes in closets, a dirty big spot on the living room floor, just a complete "not ready" condo. Was very sorry we had to stay in this place for five nights. Considering other condos we have stayed at Hi Country Hau, this one was not our best. Just did not have that warm fuzzing feeling.

Great location next to river, felt private, walkable to everything! Fully stocked kitchen, board games, etc. Only very small critique- has a very very tiny bathroom which is literally hard to get in and out of without stepping in the shower- which limits accessibility.

Cozy condo riverfront
We stayed for a couple of days just as a quick getaway. The owner was great with communication and very helpful! The condo is cozy and comfortable and dogs are allowed which was a bonus for us! The river right outside was lovely to listen to and walk by. There is only one VERY small bathroom but has nice shower. Easily walkable to several restaurants. Overall the place was clean with necessities provided. There did seem to be a backlog of laundry piled in closet. We did not use the recreation amenities like pool or hot tub but the building looked very nice!

Dog friendly, close to town, cozy condo!
Our family of four plus dog really enjoyed this property. Diana, the owner, was extremely communicative and very quickly responded with our questions. The condo is well appointed. The rec center nearby is a newer building and we really enjoyed access to the pool and hot tub. Right out the front door there is a river and trail access which was great to walk the dog. The overall space isn't overly large, however, worked perfect for the four of us on vacation. The toilet area is small but obviously was made that way to accommodate the shower remodel which is really nice. Sometimes we could hear neighbors above walking around but it wasn't enough noise that I would call it a bother. There are a lot of trinkets in the home which give it a very personal feel. A big perk was how close this condo is in walking distance to town. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay here and wouldn't hesitate to rent it again.

Diana was great to work with. Addressed all questions quickly. Very accommodating. Loction is literally 80 steps from the front door to the ski bus stop. Restaraunts and a nice grocery store -Fireside market, within walking distance. Restaraunts can get busy with extended wait times, so it is nice to have the well equipped kitchen. Cozy little spot, comfy couches, updated kitchen and bath. Not luxury, but very comfortable.

Good Location - Small Bathroom
The property is in a great location and is on the ground floor of the complex. So that is a positive, however there are a few things wrong with the property too. On my next trip to Winter park we will be choosing a different location. The first issue we had is the small bathroom. Just like everyone else stated in there reviews it is so small you have to get into the shower to shut the door. If you are a larger individual don't pick this place because you will have major troubles getting in. the second issue is that the main light switch is next to the fridge. We had to have our kids turn on the lights because we could not get our hands in between the fridge to turn on the light. The third thing is the pull out couch. The mattress on the couch is so thin it is like sleeping on springs. I have never seen a mattress that thin before. So in conclusion in you don't care about the small bathroom, trying to get lights on and not going to have someone sleep on the couch this is a good charming place. However, we give it an average rating.
