Located in the heart of Walkerville, this 2-bedroom reconstructed hotel room is the perfect choice for couples or travelling executives looking for a comfortable and convenient stay. The property offers onsite parking, and complimentary wifi throughout your stay. For a quick coffee or a delicious meal, Taloola Cafe is conveniently located on the ground floor. The hotel is situated near the Hiram Walker & Sons Distillery, and steps from great places to eat, drink and be merry!
Formerly a hotel, the Crown Inn is a late 19th century, four-storey, red brick structure with both Queen Anne and Romanesque Revival style design elements.

You will enter the building via the front door. There is a lockbox beside the front door with a key on a retractable wire. Use the code we will send in a separate message to unlock the door and place the key back into the lockbox (make sure to change the numbers!)

The building is currently under renovations. Be aware that there may be drywall and other renovation materials in the hallway. be assured that your unit is perfectly clean, so we ask you to pardon the mess. The building is being fully renovated to bring it back to it's former glory as the Crown Inn, while adding a number of modern features to bring it to the 21st century.

1. No shoes to be worn inside the home.
2. Quiet hours start at 10 pm on weeknights and 11 pm on weekends.
3. No smoking on the property, including outside. If you must smoke, please find another location to smoke. Any evidence of smoking will result in a $1000 fine.
4. Pets must be registered. We charge a nightly pet fee of $25 per night. We will request you send money through Airbnb after you confirm your reservation. Any unregistered pet will be charged a flat rate of $500 per month.
5. No parties and/or large social gatherings. No events, birthdays, bachelor or bachelorette stays There is a $250.00 surcharge charged to groups that are deceitful about the use of the house. Please be transparent and honest. Guests partying will be asked to vacate the property immediately without a refund.
6. We do a towel count and bed sheet count prior to you checking in. If at the end of the stay, there are missing towels or sheets guest will be charged accordingly. Each missing towel is $25 and each missing sheet is $35.
7. Sheets and/or towels that are stained due to your stay will also be charged. We understand there is normal wear and tear, but guest should do their utmost to keep towels and sheets the way they found them. Each stained towel will be a $25 charge. Each stained sheet is $35.
8. Check-in and Check-out times are MANDATORY unless scheduled and confirmed at a minimum of 24 hours in advance and if we are able to accommodate without double booking. A $50.00/hour penalty will be applied if you fail to check out by 10 am or by the agreed upon check-out time. My cleaners are on tight schedules
9. A surcharge of $100.00 per undeclared guest per night will be applied for unapproved guests. Please be honest. We must coordinate cleaners and inventory based on the number of guests that occupy the unit.
10. Please leave all shoes at the front door and do not wear them throughout the house.
11. If any personal property is damaged/lost/stolen or if the cleaning company requires additional time to clean up, you will be charged accordingly. Please do not leave any personal belongings behind during your stay. We will not be held responsible for lost/ misplaced or stolen items. In the event that an item was left behind, we will ship the item back to you at your expense, or throw it away.
12. Lock all windows and doors if you are not home.
13. Turn off all lights when not in use.
14. If there is any maintenance issue, please contact me directly so I can send someone to fix it.
15. Garbage is not to be left inside the unit upon check-out. Please dispose of all garbage inside the unit to the outdoor bins.
16. Garbage, recycling, and organic wastes are to be disposed of properly and up to city regulations. A $50.00 surcharge is charged to guests who fail to follow proper waste protocol. My cleaners will have to dedicate time to re-sort the garbage correctly.
17. No Moving / Rearranging of the furniture.
18. No unplugging of electronics like TVs, cable boxes, lamps, Roku sticks, etc.
19. There should be an outer glass/storm door before the first door (where you need to enter a code). Please DO NOT lock this door as our guests in the basement unit will have no way of getting into the property. If you do lock the door preventing other guests from entering, you will cover any costs for refunds or cancellations.
20. There is a $500 security deposit held on your card for incidental damages such as smoking or pet violations, or late checkouts.
21. Our time of operation is Monday-Sunday from 9 AM-1:30 AM EST, and our check-in time is between 4 PM-11 PM.
