"The hotel was good and the amenities like spa (sauna, hot and cold pool, steam room etc) was good. We enjoyed plunging into the hot tub and cold pool a lot. Though the Sauna took a long time and we should have run it for 2 hours to get it hot on cold -15 C day. The staff were excellent, especially Kelly at the front desk who helped us a lot. We only got the buffet breakfast only one day of the 3 day stay, but the limited a-la-carte menu was also good. Though the resort fee was a bit high, the service provided was great. Did not try the food or drinks in the pub or the restaurant (which only opened, after a long halt, the day before we left), Only major complain I had was noisy guests who turned up the day before we were leaving. They were in the next room and the group was talking really loudly and we got woken up around midnight and in spite of asking them politely to reduce their noise levels, they persisted for another 15 mins until 12:30, I tried to reach the front desk, but no one picked up the call."

"Wonderful property! Secluded, but leisurely walk to town. Delightful area of the world!! Works great by boat to get to towns around the lake. Nice water toys provided. Our grandkids ranged from 6 to 18 and they all loved it. "

"Great lake! The boat house was clean and cozy, well equipped. The only thing is that it needs more lighting. The drive way slopes so stay on the gravel part as the car can get stuck if parked on the steep non gravel part especially if the ground is wet it can be muddy. The driveway that leads to the cottage, the bush needs to be cut back as the entrance is hidden. Bring bug spray. There is a nice dock to sit on and watch the sun set and great to dine outside. There is a BBQ and the cottage is a short drive to port carling which is great. Easy to get to and overall it was a great stay. Would recommend this property!!"
