Big Texan Sky is a sophisticated property with enormous appeal. Immaculately appointed with floor to ceiling windows, native plant landscaping, and regional contemporary design features, this one bedroom one and a half bath stunner offers 8.5 acres of bucolic charm with the luxury of a city dwelling.

Walk inside to an open floor plan and take in the entire home with one dramatic view. Concrete floors, a sleek and simple kitchen and refined dining and living area adorn the first floor of this unique property. Shift your eyes upward and see the entire second level loft devoted to the bedroom. This sexy sleeping area has hardwood floors, a king size bed with luxury linens, and a unique glass and slate spa inspired shower big enough for two. A privacy curtain can be extended the length of the room for maximum seclusion.

The outdoor area is a wonder in landscaping and symmetry. For the grill master, two barbeque grills are provided -one charcoal and one propane. For relaxing, a peaceful walking trail runs the length of the property and a brand-new hot tub is available for an after dinner soak. A fire pit adorns the lower level of the property and is the perfect spot to spend an evening under the stars.

Romantic getaway under the stars
My husband and I spent a wonderful weekend together in this beautiful house with spectacular views. We so enjoyed the comfy furnishings and the hot tub under the stars. There was absolute privacy in this location which helped us unwind and disconnect from the outside world. We had a couple lovely meals in Wimberley and found the perfect Christmas presents for family in the quaint shops. Would stay here again in a Heartbeat! Thanks for providing us with the perfect setting for a weekend away from our busy lives.

There is nothing about this property that is not first class and perfect. The pictures on the VRBO web page represent the home perfectly. There are plenty of rentals in the area. We suggest spending the extra money, you will not regret it!!

I can't say enough how wonderful and peaceful this property is, the only sounds we heard while we were there was the wind, and cows and a goat in a nearby pasture. This is a couple's dream get away and definitely hope to book it again in the future.

The pictures don’t do this property justice. Very clean, beautifully appointed and ultra private. We will be back. My wife and I loved the private yard and walking path. Only thing I would add to the listing is that it is down a rough gravel road. My car has very low ground clearance but we made it by driving really slow. Next time will bring my wife’s SUV. If it had rained while we there - we wouldn’t have been able to drive out. Other than that - this place is amazing. Five stars.

This property is everything you think it will be as you look through the pictures! We absolutely loved spending our anniversary here!! We had fun shopping in town during the day and returning to peace and quiet in the evenings by the fire pit and in the hot tub. We also enjoyed exploring the property each morning and watching the wildlife. The house has everything you need, is very clean and modern, and the bed and linens were very comfortable. Our favorite VRBO rental yet!
