Overall facility maintenance is below standard. Only one elevator working and that one had a hard stop on the ground floor as well as tape on the threshold. One faucet in women’s room (near gym) no running water. Water in pool appeared cloudy. The room was dim with lights on which gives you the impression the hotel is trying to hide lack of cleanliness. The room had pealing wallpaper and rust at the bottom bathroom frame. We needed to call engineering to have toilet seat tightened. We asked three (3) times for 2 extra pillows.

It has changed so much and not in a good way! The staff was great HOWEVER the pool was hard to enjoy! The walls were rusted and the caution tape around the jacuzzi made us cut the pool real short real quick! There was food and trash on the stairs like there was a food fight and the amount of kids running around unattended was unnerving! Not to mention music blasting until 2 am

My stay here was terrible! First of all check in was at 3pm we got there at 330pm after a 5 hour Drive. We were not able to check in because there were no rooms ready. Then once we checked in the room was filthy! The room smelled and was very stuffy. The curtains in the bedroom were coming down. The rug had several stains. The bathroom was filthy! It smelled of mildew or mold. The tub was dirty. The sink had hair and dirt in it. Around the toilet was dirty. There were boogers in the shower and on the wall. My overall experience here was terrible! And the pool was filthy and disgusting. The hot tub did not work. I would never stay here again!

The stay at the Embassy Suites in Wilmington was ok, but this hotel is in need of better maintenance and service. In regards to the maintenance, only one elevator was working at the property causing long wait times and the down button on our floor was broken. The ice machine on our floor was also broken and the couch in our suite had sediments on it and clearly needed to be re-vacuumed. The staff was generally nice, but often disturbed us in our room. During our first morning, the house cleaning staff knocked on our door to inquire about cleaning the room, and when they didn't receive a response proceeded to open our door without consent. Our family was here for a family reunion and was told there would be a happy hour as was consistent in the past, but when we arrived were informed that the property "lost the liquor license" and would not be serving alcohol. We made due without during that time, but felt that was deceitful from Embassy Suites. Overall the stay was ok and definitely could've have been better, but the other accommodations sufficed for our reunion.

Staff were very nice, especially the staff working in the breakfast area. The refrigerator in our room was dirty and we had to request to have it changed. We could hear entire conversations and television sounds from either side of our room. The temperature in the hallways outside the room were uncomfortably hot.

Nice selection of breakfast options, complimentary happy hour and great attitudes from staff. TGI Friday restaurant right next door which was super convenient for kids. However, pool area needs touch up and jacuzzi was not working.
