I do not recommend this property. The overall cleanliness, maintenance, and service quality were well below expectations. The room had a strong odor of smoke, the decorative pillows were visibly stained, the air conditioning did not function properly, and the toilet appeared to have not been cleaned after the previous guest. Although my reservation was for a double bed, I was assigned a single and initially asked to accept it. The manager, Penelope, was dismissive and unhelpful in addressing these concerns. It ultimately required the involvement of her supervisor and additional staff to resolve the matter. The dining experience was equally disappointing. The buffet food was cold, the seafood restaurant caused illness among guests, and the overall food selection was extremely limited. In addition, the property itself is outdated and in desperate need of a complete renovation. It does not reflect the standards or quality associated with the Dream brand.

We stayed at IL Mare adult only at Dreams resort. And I have to say it was the best experience we’ve ever had. Our Butler Jacob was nothing but amazing. Very intensive, informative and takes great care of us throughout our stay. Location, food and drinks are all great. We love it!

Due to the reviews I read before arriving, I was very skeptical. We stayed in the mare pods and had a wonderful experience. Great service at the pool bar and restraunts. The staff is very friendly. The food choices are limited and okay.

Unhelpful, unfriendly staff. Was not given the room I originally booked and in addition to that the AC unit, in the room I was given, didn't work. This clearly seems to be sort of a regular/usual occurrence as after I complained I was moved to the Zoetry resort, which is phenomenal by the way, for the remainder of my stay. As for the Dreams Curacao 0/10 would not recommend ever!!

The views at the property are beautiful, but the facility is not being maintained properly. Our room appeared nice, but there was no AC and no water pressure. We were moved to another room, with better AC and water pressure, but we had to take cold showers as there was only hot water in the sink (which had no cold water), and cold water only in the shower no hot water. After a day in the sun, the first shower did not bother us, but after that it was annoying. Also, my toilet broke and we had to use the lobby until it was fixed, but it broke again. We were checking out so we didn't request a fix. All restaurants have the same menu basically. It is not enough space to accommodate a lot of people, so the first night there, we waited 3 hours to eat. And that was after going to 2 different restaurants. The premium liquor selection, is available for an upcharge. The entertainment was not as good as I hope as well. The staff is very kind and tries to accommodate, but the fact is the property needs a complete overhaul to really represent the brand Hyatt

The staff was good at the front desk but need more training as everyone you speak too gives you a different answer for the same question.The bar staff all act like you are bothering them when you go to get a drink but overall the rest of the staff is nice. Housekeeping only came to clean on day one and did not come to clean again. If you are in your room trying to relax be prepared to be woken by slamming doors as all room door slam unless you are super careful. The property is small and easy to navigate. The food was better then I expected based on other reviews. There is a seperate kiddie pool with some water toys which my 2 year old loved!! Overall it was good for the price!

Dreams Curaçao Resort has a lot of potential. The staff was incredibly friendly and kind, and the views are breathtaking. I did notice some trash around the pool area (cups, straws, napkins, food, etc.), but it didn’t interfere with my experience—just something I noticed. In regard to entertainment Friday night entertainment was the best. Other than that, there wasn’t much entertainment or activities happening. I would say entertainment and activities was a two out of five. Our excursion with BlueFinn beach hopping on Sunday was excellent & highly recommended! The food was okay, depending on the time of day. When we first arrived on Friday, lunch was delicious, but I can’t say the same for Saturday’s lunch. The restaurants were decent: the Italian restaurant had good food four out of five, the seafood restaurant was a three out of five, and the hidden grill was a two out of five. Honestly, the staff were the real heroes of the resort—they were so friendly, kind, and accommodating. They made the experience a five out of five. As for the rooms, the AC stopped working on day two, and the shower handle fell off on day one. Even though we had to wait an extra hour for our room to be ready, the bathrooms weren’t clean to my expectations. It looked like a rushed job. And the water pressure for the sink was nonexistent. I reported it right away, but no one ever came to fix it. Overall, the bathrooms need a lot of work, and I’ll leave it at that.

The staff was amazing. The rooms inside the dreams needed updating. The tubs and toilets paint was chipping and peeling super bad and noticeable. The A/C only runs in fan mode so it can get very uncomfortable and hot at times.

AC in the room barely worked, very hot in the room, a lot of other people complained about it too, birds in the buffet restaurant pecking on bread trays, nobody does anything about it. Birds also were eating noodles from service trays. A stray dog was cooling of in the main pool. Beach is very nice. Staff is friendly. We were at this hotel in 2020 and it was much better back then.

I paid for an Oceanview king room, they gave a 2 beds an a view of the parking lot. Then the next morning wake up to the toilet not working & AC I go downstairs to be told they couldn’t change my until 5 after the manager proceeded to tell me to show him proof of the oceanview king room. Once I showed him my receipt then he proceeded to tell me Well it’s not always a grantee you get. What you paid for and never offered to refund me 1 day. Thank Jo

The room was huge, and very clean, no complaints about it. The staff was extremely nice and helpful. Even when the upsell went wrong they helped get my refund back to me quickly.
