Loved this island for our first visit and loved the Curacao Marriott Beach Resort…we will definitely be back and will only stay here! The staff at the Salty Iguana…Shuda, Gerniel (sp? Sorry), Maria, Josh, Jaymy and Lyn were so fun at the bar for happy hours and amazingly helpful with local apps, beach recommendations and places to go around the island since we had a rental car for the week. The food at this beach bar/cafe was excellent and we had a lot of meals here for lunch and dinner for the week. Also, Marlene at the coffee shop Papiamentu was amazing every morning and also gave us a super local and hidden gem rec for dinner… The lobby bar and sushi restaurant in the main lobby was also delish for dinner…had a great espresso martini here as well. Can’t say enough about the great service we experienced, rooms were clean & comfortable, tons of great snorkeling right at the private beach. 1000s of fish! We were inbetween staying at a few resorts and were able to visit the others throughout the week and after that we DEFINITELY made the right choice. Can’t wait to visit again.

Beautiful resort, convenient base for exploring both ends of Island by car. Oceanfront room was a pleasure watching boats, scuba/snorkeling, sunsets, balcony for sipping wine and coffee in the morning. Well appointed gym, excellent breakfast buffet (choose to include in price of room upgrade). Ample free parking at resort, 4 great restaurants adjoin a public beach within 2 miles of property. Loved the 2 pools, 1 quiet adult only pool and 1 for activities, music, closer to bar. Lots of space, choose different areas daily to spend some hours swimming, sunning etc. Ocean is crystal clear, great swimmable, snorkeling areas, umbrellas. Awesome and friendly staff throughout our stay. Would visit again!

Let me start off saying this resort is...Absolutely Beatiful!!! The grounds are well kept immaculent and picturesque. The bell men are consistently asking how they can help. The Asian Fusion Restaurant is a great dining option. Other dining options are close by and within walking distance or the hotel staff will drive you in a golf cart. Rooms are cleaned daily. The beaches near this resort are a little rocky for my taste however water is clear blue and beaches are very private and safe! The main restaurant could stand to have a better variety of food and more made to order options for the price. Ate there once and never returned during our 5 day stay. You can spend a whole day just sitting in the lobby or around the pool. This resort offers a fantastic vacation all by itself!! There's really no reason to leave the resort unless your just a very adventurous person that wants to venture out to see the other sides of the island. If this is you please rent a car! Things are very spread out on this island. It's a Hidden Jem...we will definitley return and stay at this resort every time were in Curacao!!

Rooms were clean and the housekeeping staff were great. The restaurant staff were great as well. There is a huge are for opportunity to improve the services of the front desk staff. Upon checking our room was not ready, which was not a problem. When I asked how we find out when it was the desk clerk said hang around this area and she’ll get us. Ok we did that. An hour later and no one else waiting I asked the desk again. They were like oh yeah your room is ready now. Never were going to tell us. They also didn’t advise us on anything with the property like a white card you’re supposed to get to get towels for the pool. Them checking out I asked for an hour extended check out due to our flight time. They said they would put in the request. Those decisions are made the next day at 7am. How would I find out? They call all of the extended check out requests. No call. So I walk down close to time to check on it and again no big deal we will renew your room key. Just a lack of service, communication, and a sense of care.
