Great place
In all honesty, it felt like we were staying at Grandmas house! It’s not a shiny new top of line place. The pictures are accurate so we knew what to expect. It was clean and well maintained and the view was pretty. Our only disappointment was that the owner said Verizon worked there and it did not work at all. Otherwise it was a great stay

Great getaway!!
If you are looking for a place to really get away from it all then this is it. The retro feel of the house was charming. We had great views and we were able to see some wildlife while doing some exploring around the house. The owner Debbie was so nice and we enjoyed talking with her. No WiFi, no cable in exchange for beautiful views and peace and quiet are well worth it for this place to stay.

Quick weekend
This house was the perfect location for our weekend to go jetboating in Hell's Canyon.

White Bird
The house was in a fine location, but the beds were super old and uncomfortable. There were insects in two of the bedrooms throughout the stay. There was a dirty diaper left which stunk up the house. The checkin process was smooth, it was a cute house just old. Not sure if it was because of coronavirus but there were few places to eat in White Bird

Nice visit to Grandma's
I found the place very endearing. It smells like old. Old what you ask? Old.. anything! Nice people running it. Take the family, not a friends trip. Great view. Needs more in the kitchen and some cleaning/maintenance, but nothing worth complaining about. Would stay again.

Enjoyable stay
Our family stayed in the house while driving the 221 from Grangeville to the Salmon River. Minor inconveniences: one of the steps into the house was high for some of us; toilet seats were a little low; one bathroom ran out of toilet paper. Overall, the house was ideal for our group. We appreciated the lack of traffic noise, the excellent views of the surrounding hills, and the well-kept yard. Having a carport to shade vehicles from the sun was also a plus.

Great family facility and location
House used as a base for a family vacation. Was clean, appropriately furnished, and comfortable for 4 adults and 2 children for a week. Just bring your food and enjoy! Great view! Certainly enjoyed watching the deer and other wildlife in the area. Most enjoyable

Great private home
Pros: This home is private with a wonderful view from the back deck. The house was clean and had every amenity needed. You will enjoy the large floor to ceiling window in the kitchen. Beds were comfortable. A/C worked great during the 102 degree weather. Plenty of room to park your fishing/jet boat. Excellent tap water. The owner is easy to work with. Cons: If you’re wanting a tv, there is no satellite or cable(but why would you???). At the time of this review, there is no land line phone. However, there is cell service which was limited to Verizon only. AT&T did not work. Overall, my family loved the privacy of this house. We would recommend this home and will return if ever again in White Bird.
