Stayed for one night, Top floor room, Lift not working decor needed updating, paper peeling of the walls etc. The pictures on the website look alot better than the actual rooms. Staff were really friendly, Breakfast was nice too. Probably wouldn't stay again with so many other options in Weston.

Could be a beautiful hotel. Everything is there but desperately needs upgrading. It’s been neglected for a long time!

Booked accessible room to be put on 3rd floor involving two staircases between each floor. Lift out of order and had been flor a long time by look of dusty bollard in front of it Receptionist changed room to first floor but still difficult. Beds too narrow for huge room bathroom tatty. All paintwork throughout hotel needs good clean or repaint. £10 parking per night ridiculous. Breakfast cold and dried up. Not a good stay

Broken lift!
We had a pleasant one night stay at the hotel however the lift has been out of order for at least the last 4 months!!!! It wasn’t too much of a problem for us but my mother in law really struggled going up and down the stairs. We were informed about the issue with the lift a few days before our stay but by then there was nowhere else to stay nearby. We decided to risk it as we were only staying one night- if we had been staying longer we would have had to cancel our stay. Car parking was easy - plenty of space but a charge of £10. Check in was efficient- staff were lovely. Room was very dated but comfortable with a fabulous view. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty. Check out was easy.

Turret room with fanrastic views across the bay. The staff were very attentative and friendly and we found weston super mare very clean and friendly place yo visit with this hotel in prime location. Only gripe was its a dog friendly hotel and someones dog barked considerably in evening and morning. Not the fault of hotel but annoying.

Stayed here before. Place is nice. Right on the sea front. Very good. Paid extra for a sea view. Life out action might be a problem for some guests

Staff were polite, helpful and friendly. Room was clean and looked to be partially refurbished, furniture looked fairly new and some walls were ok whilst others were in need of repair and painting. Overall the room was satisfactory for what we paid. Breakfast was excellent, hot buffet, cereals, fruit, danish pastries etc all were constantly replenished as necessary. Would definitely stay again

Booked a superior room but everything was tired, the lift didn’t work and we only found out 3 hours before we arrived and if your travelling with a disabled person that really is not good, the floors had holes full of expanding foam, the paint was peeling, the net curtain in the bathroom was black at the bottom and stained all over, the windows were so dirty you couldn’t see much out of them. Beds were comfortable enough and it was clean but I wouldn’t book here again.

Very dated
It's seen better times, room very dated and the doors creaked like a Halloween prop, staff were nice but the food wasn't great, lift not working, also you have to pay to park your car in their carpark.

Great views of the sea front The lifts were out for our visit, although we were notified prior to arrival, 3 flights of stairs every day. We are fit & able so fine for us, but did feel sorry for some of the elderly guests The rooms although I believe recently renovated, were shabby & need of repair

DISAPPOINTING !!
disappointing..... staff demanded my credit card details even though the room was prepaid, they've never heard of GDPR ! Then £8 to park a solo motorcycle, that wasn't on their website ! and they only told me that the lift to my 4th floor room wasn't working AFTER i'd made the booking. i felt so sorry for the many elderly guests who couldn't manage the stairs, surely they should have been given alternative accommodation A disappointing stay all round......

The hotel was like going back in Time. Nothing very inviting when you walk in. I didn't know it had a bar untill I went for my evening. During my evening meal, I was asked if would like a drink from the bar. The waiter took my room number. He brought my drink, gave my receipt then asked me to go to the bar when I finished my meal and pay for it. Where upon I had to stand and wait for 15 mins to do so. Wouldn't it be easier to charge it to my room. They had taken a copy of my card when I arrived. The lift was not in operation, which I find a bit strange considering it's the height of the holidays. I was lucky,I was on the first floor. There is 3 floors and lots of stairs. They do help you with your bags but depending on your age and health you still have to walk up and down. I went to reception to ask advice , again I had to wait until the receptionist was finished her text. Food was ok and rooms ok and good location .( no air conditioning ) Wouldn't rush back.

Very old and tired. No elevator. Over priced for what you get but there really is no where cheaper or nicer on the waterfront.
