'Little Farmhouse Near The Dairy' is located in Waukivory. A peaceful place just 20 mins from Gloucester. It is situated in the midst of dairy & cattle country. Our relaxing getaway is just 3 & 1/2 hrs north of Sydney and 2 hrs north of Newcastle.

For those who really love to cook we even have a mini spit for you to use, give yourself a few hours to enjoy. (charcoal coals provided)

The property is set on 3.3 acres. Ideal for scenic walks or just relax, read a book and enjoy the clean air and peace of the valley.

The property is also home to our two beautiful calves. Their names are Casey and Clyde.

You're welcome to walk around the property and discover some of our bushland. We love our visits from the kangaroos each morning, we also have 2 kookaburras who call our property home. You may even see a possum or the dairy cows that come to visit at the fence at different times.

There is a beautiful wood fire inside, so cosy up for a cold winters night watching a movie or open the French doors and enjoy dinner at the dining table with friends (there is plenty of firewood available). There is also an outdoor fire pit for those nights around the fire stargazing or toasting marshmallows with the kids.

We have Wi Fi. The main TV has satellite National free to air channels.
The main TV has apps, including Netflix and Stan. You will have to use your own login details to access Premium paid services. and the second TV in the bunk room has a DVD player and PlayStation 4.

This is a great property to relax and enjoy with family & friends. There is a Woolworths & IGA in Gloucester for all your essentials, or you may want to visit the local Pub, Bowling Club, Thai, Bakeries, many Cafes or the famous Roadies.

Use the farmhouse as your base to explore the many scenic walks in the National Parks, you may even see snow on the Barrington Tops in winter. Take a relaxing drive to the historic town of Stroud, wander through the shops and make sure you pick up some old-fashioned Lollie's at the milk bar.

In the summer months go for a swim or kayak at Rocky Crossing which is a pristine river system only 30 minutes away (remember to bring your swim shoes). Why not enjoy a day at the beach and take a trip to Forster or Diamond Beach which is only a 1-hour drive. You may like to take a scenic drive to Bulahdelah which is only 40 mins away. Perfect getaway
A lovely retreat, beautifully decorated and very comfortable. We enjoyed both the indoor and outdoor fires, and the spit roast was a lovely addition. Highly recommend for a family country escape. There would be enough space for two couples and a couple of kids. We would happily return for another holiday.

Glorious!!!
I cannot gush about how beautiful our stay was. The hosts had the most impeccable communication. The house is so well appointed. There is everything you could think of that you need. I had the best nights sleeps! The beds are beyond comfortable in fact more comfy than my bed at home! Mind blown. The calves on the property as so sweet and it was lovely to being doing dishes seeing them graze peacefully out the window. The fire pit outside was perfect for stargazing and keeping cosy on chilly nights. It was utterly beautiful, sparkingly clean, and so relaxing. The outlook is so peaceful with rolling green hills and the sounds of birds. There were activities for the kids. We all had the best time. Thank you for hosting us in your beautiful home.
