The place is overated and neglected to say the least. We travel a lot and consider ourselves to be savvy and not snobby travelers. The checking person was abusive and accusatory as he read us the riot act and reminded us several times not to trash our room ...hmmm last I checked we were simply looking for a weekend get away celebration and spa treatments. Regardless-we checked into our room and later discovered that our door lock was broken. so they moved us hours later to a different room. Chapter 2: I booked a couples massage- to our surprise and no explanation this was switched because The couples massage rooms were in use.... yet we were charged the full price not to mention the broken steam room no couples massage and the list goes on of broken amenities at the spa. Chapt.3: mold in the shower. We first thought the smoke from the casino was the reason for the scratchy & drippy nose plus headache. But alas! The tiles in the shower had mold. While empathetic to service staff - it is upsetting that management doesn't seem to keep an eye on details and continues to offer a service that doesn't exist. As someone who teaches folks in the hospitality sector I am extremely disappointed and hope management truly takes time to reevaluate their entire facility. You have too many broken amenities - fix them!
