Location, location, location. We are in a quiet, tree-lined neighborhood a short walk to downtown Bethesda and to the Capital Crescent Trail leading into DC. Our adjacent Kenwood neighborhood is lined with cherry blossom trees in full bloom and is a major tourist attraction every spring. Take a short 5-10 min walk to downtown Bethesda which has numerous restaurants, bars, cafes, movie theater, supermarkets, and shops of all kinds as well as Bethesda Metro station. The Bethesda Metro is on the Red Line which whisks you to NIH, and downtown DC and all it has to offer. We are also a short walk to a large public pool, a park with 2 large playgrounds and the Capital Crescent hiking/biking trail that goes to Georgetown and downtown DC.
Our house will be hotel ready when you arrive and we expect it to be in the same condition when we return. A housekeeper is available in a reciprocal exchange or else as an additional fee, if desired. The house is furnished for adults. Given the high demand in spring time we request a one week stay (6 nights/7 days). A propane grill is available for your use on the lower patio. Free parking and electric charging are available right in front of our courtyard.
Have breakfast or dinner on our upper deck surrounded by trees and chirping birds. The main level has an open floor plan with a modern kitchen, a living room with an enclosed fireplace, and a dining room with french doors that lead to an outdoor deck. In the basement is a full-size washing machine, dryer, iron and ironing board for your convenience. You are welcome to use the 2 bicycles located in the tent on our patio or use a regular or ebike from the bikeshare stand 300 yards away.
