The property was clean and our room was light and airy. The hotel is a little way out of the centre but it was easy to walk or cycle in. The AC in particular was much appreciated given the heat in DC in August. As others have said it would be great to get water on all floors, or otherwise for it to be left out 24/7 as it was luck as to whether it was available or not.

A very comfortable hotel in a historic building. We were very grateful for the air-con and iced water! A bit far out of the centre but we didn't mind the walk, apart from the heat.

We enjoyed our stay. The staff were nice, welcoming and accommodating. The hotel was clean and the beds were comfortable. The only downside was parking. Initially we were told that the parking was full and that we would have to use city parking 3 blocks away. Thankfully they were able to find parking for us after all.

The Morrison- Clark Hotel is a very nice property. I have stayed there 3 times on this summer (2024). The rooms are nicely decorated and have an Asian theme to fit into the history of the building. There are upscale touches such as soft close drawers, a thick, soft robe, and slippers in each room. The room sizes vary. My 2nd/3rd visit had a large room. The beds are super comfy. The only things I would change if it were possible is that they do not have ice machines on the room floors (you can go and ask the bar tender in the lobby for a cup of ice) and the room on my 2nd/3rd visit had some type of pipe or other mechanical item that constantly and loudly vibrated (in the bathroom). The hotel is within walking distance of the Capital One Arena, if you're attending a concert or game, as well as China Town (with many restaurant choices). I walked to and from the arena for 2 major concerts and felt safe the entire time. I would definitely return to the Morrison- Clark Hotel.

The Inn is quaint, well maintained and service is great. It is my second stay and perfect location to attend The National Book Festival. I highly recommend and hope to stay again soon.
