The staff was nice, and the towels and other things in the room were replaced daily. The food was decent, and the dining room was kept clean constantly.
We stayed on the first floor, and the hallway was dingy and claustrophobic. The room was neat and comfortable, but so damp that our sheets stayed damp the entire 3 days we were there, in spite of keeping the air conditioner running. There were several times we were hit with the smell of marijuana. The room could have used another lamp. And a few of the TV channels were off and on working throughout our stay.
The hotel was a convenient distance from downtown DC, and overall it was an ok stay. But the dampness and dingyness of the hallway and room would make me not want to stay there again. The hotel just needs a good upgrade.
