The hotel is super cute. Small, modern, has just the basics but what it lacks in amenities, it more than makes up for in ambience. The room is remote-controlled from an in-room iPad. I enjoyed having the "bathroom" ceiling lit in purple. But then I loved the ambient seting on the TV that played soothing music and turned the room lights red. The bar was great -- Dee'Nise made me an AMAZING pumpkin espresso martini -- her recipe! The breakfast meats/buffet items were top-notch. The coffee bar and wine choices were everything I could hope for. A lot of value for not a big price tag.

Easy check-in, check-out. Beautiful lobby and bar. Room is perfect for one person (towels are a little rough, but fine; bed only has one thin ish comforter and the mattress is firm). The room was a little cold and the iPad controls did not seem to affect the temperature, but otherwise the room was tidy and efficient. The location is fantastic in terms of being next to the metro and union market (less than ten minute walk to either).
