Staying in Wadi Rum is an unforgettable experience, and the Mohammed Mutlak camp is a great base to do so. The sunset Jeep tour is incredible (Fahad was a fantastic guide) and the sunrise camel ride is really good too.
Extraordinary! Super friendly and helpful staff makes sure guests have a great experience. Installations are comfortable and clean. I took a half-day 4wd tour with Salame (sorry if misspelled) and really enjoyed it
The camp was in a beautiful spot in the desert with interesting rock formations. The staff was wonderful and the meals provided were tasty. The clear, night sky with no light pollution was well worth the trip by itself.
Good if basic camp in dessert.Staff excellent. We were well looked after. The chef .Josef.deserves a special mention for excellent Bedouin food.Spectacular position but all of Wadi Rum is spectacular.
The staff doesn’t speak English proficiently not even the tour guide. Booked a package for a full day Jeep tour and communication was not clear and they ran late. Wasted about 2 hours and only did about 3.5 hours of driving, we were left at some spots and were told to hike them or climb certain mountains but with little or no clear indication. We noticed other tours had better guides who actually spoke English, so this might not be the case for all wadi rum tours. The actual camp ground was very nice however and clean.
We had a lovely stay with Mohammed and his team. The camp was well kept, clean, and warm. The food was plentiful and tasty. We had a half moon during our stay which was remarkably strong and kept the full star experience a bit at bay. The 4x4 tour they arranged was fantastic - Zayeed was a great driver, friendly, and quite handy at making tasty tea in the desert over an open fire as we watched the sun set.
We stayed ovenight in Wadi Rum. We had a great time watching the sunset over the desert and eating traditional food cooked in a camp fire. There happened to be a camel race the next morning and was one of the highlights of our Jordan trip.
I lost my wallet in the desert and Mohammad found it and got it to me at my hotel in Aqaba the same morning. Amazing!
Great Bedouin camp in a good location. We got picked up from the Wadi Rum visitor center. This is a camp so amenities are very limited with shared bathrooms. Dinner was cooked Bedouin style and was delicious. The people that run the camp were friendly and when asked gave a wealth of information on the history and surroundings. Breakfast was traditional - I missed real coffee, instant coffee was served. The setting is marvelous, we stayed two nights and did some great hikes by ourselves. We asked for a ride back to Aqaba through the back country and they accommodated our request for a somewhat steep price of 60 Jordanian Dinars ($85.00) The only downside was that while we where there several big families with lot's of children were there also. Which made the whole experience very noisy. It's a great place to experience Wadi Rum!

Nice hotel in a great location
This is a basic camp site with 2 single beds. The bathrooms are not private and are located at a distance from the rooms. Located in the middle of nowhere surrounded by great dunes and orange rock formations which will fascinate the imagination. The sunset view is also great. In the night, one can sit outside and gaze at all the stars in a very clear sky. There is a free flow of great Arabic tea and "sheesha". The dinner was ok.
amazing place with amazing people. great food, very goog breakfast. showers and toilets better than expected on the dessert.

The people in Wadi Rum are the best. The Mohammed Mutlak Camp is authentic and worth visiting it.
