The cabin was clean with easy instructions to operate the heater and get a fire started. We enjoyed the peace and quiet. Thank you again for having us! "

"The location for Lassen is excellent. You can make short day trips to Burney Falls, Redding, and more. The cabin itself is lovely, exactly as shown in the photos. Very clean, comfortable, and cozy. The creek in the backyard is so picturesque! The kitchen is well stocked with cookware and utensils. The hosts were communicative and helpful. We had a great trip!"

"Our stay at the Village Highlands Ranch was great. We got there after dark, but had no trouble finding the place. It’s well lit. Check in was a breeze. Rooms are cleaned and beds made every day. There’s a spot for a bonfire; a great way to connect with other guests. Great location; very close to Lassen National. We had a great time. Will stay here again. "

"My family and I had a great time at the cabin. It is clean, warm and well stocked with everything you could need. The neighborhood was quiet, peaceful and tree filled. The roads are paved and clear right up to the gravel driveway. Communication with the owner was clear and easy. The only "cons" would be the hot water does not last very long so it was a challenge getting a family of 4 showered in the evening after a day of sledding. As mentioned in other reviews the internet could get laggy so I wouldn't book the cabin if you need to work for any part of your stay, the connection just isn't strong enough for zooms or other computer related work. However it is perfectly fine for aimless scrolling and TV."
