Stayed for a night as a stopover whilst travelling through France. The hotel was easy to find and the staff very friendly. They humoured me with my very limited French and spoke very slowly and clearly. We stayed in the "Clovis" hotel, which is a few metres from the main part "Le Cheval Blanc", which I hadn't originally realised. It was not an issue in the slightest, though, that the two parts weren't linked.
Because we were travelling with our two dogs, we requested a ground floor room and this was very close to the road, but we didn't find this a problem at all, since the village is very quiet (certainly while we were there).
As we checked in, we were asked if we wished to have our evening meal at the hotel and we decided we would, so they made us a reservation. The food was very nice indeed, and the staff very helpful.
Behind the hotel is a large park with lakes and plenty of green space; great for dogs and humans alike.
If we were passing through the area, we would definitely stop again and would heartily recommend it to other travellers.
