Phenomenal stay!!! Very much enjoyed the rooms and staff. Was right next to the bar but it was fairly quiet considering. Beautiful and comfortable bed!!!

A dark dingy hotel , we were there during extensive building work which we were only informed of after booking . When advised of the building work we immediately tried to cancel and the hotel refused - which I think is totally unacceptable given they didn’t disclose at time of booking. We were awoken by loud building works . The hotel staff on site were excellent and totally understood our desire to cancel the last 3 nights which they accommodated. Thank you to the onsite hotel staff . Also the inroom shower was superb.

The hotel was very clean. Location is close to city center and many major sites. The hotel bar was great with plenty of room to hang out. The staff was hard working and very friendly. It did seem like they could have used some extra staff as bartenders were making drinks and snacks and also having to support checkin as there is no true concierge desk to check in at or answer questiins. Charlie was a fill in bartender from Amsterdam and she was spectacular. Overall we were very happy.

The hotel had construction going on with significant drilling which started at 6 am in the morning. It was quite disruptive, albeit they were apologetic, this was not mentioned on the website. Zero on peace and quiet. The staff was wonderful though, and put in a very difficult situration.

Great room and location is close to everything. If you plan on sleeping in napping during the day they are doing construction on the roof so very noisy. Bar staff were very friendly.

This is the second location of a Ruby franchise I have stayed at and was not all that pleased. We checked in a little before 3:00 as they said all their rooms were ready. We checked into our room and was immediately greeted with a horrid smell coming from the towels, where then I saw hair on them-but they did seem to be “clean”. Next there was left over liquid residue on the counters. The toilet still had fecal matter and hair on it, the tissue box had one tissue left in it. The lockbox never even worked and left this awful sound on. We immediately went down to the front desk where we asked if we could get a different room or have this one looked over again to the front desk clerk. Immediately a housekeeper yelled in German(as we were speaking in English) to the clerk that somethings we don’t understand and that there’s no more rooms or housekeeping staff. The clerk offered that when he got off his shift he would check it out and clean up the room. The clerk did sort the cleaning out, and never got a functioning safe.. we received some more drink vouchers.. Im not sure where this hotel lies with cleanliness as even at 3:00 there’s not a housekeeper and they practically press you to take vouchers instead of getting daily cleaning. As someone who has worked 10+ years in hospitality, I feel the housekeepers attitude towards us and the issue were merely unprofessional and distasteful. I did receive a email the day before about construction-was not a fan of the 7:30 chainsaw.

The room AC was locked to auto and +/- 3 degrees and it was boiling hot in the room. We also couldn’t get fresh towels during our 3 day stay due to accepting the 1 welcome drink and decline cleaning, which was fine. Location is good but slightly dodgy at night.

Hotel is totally different than what I expected! Walked in into an empty lobby then as I walked to what it said bar don’t recall exactly found a bar and in this corner it said reception 😂 lights dimmed out and after check in I walker to what I thought was going to be a hotel , NOT , when up the elevator and when exit found a black dark corridor mean black , all walls , carpet doors and surprise I got to my room really disappointed all white lots of lights all weird it seem like I was an a motel 6 room smelly like mold and cigarettes ! For the price very disappointed pros good location and excellent personnel

The air conditioner didn’t work in our room and no matter how many times we asked them to fix or change our room it was never done. The room was not cleaned properly. The breakfast was very good. The a/c worked fine in the hallways.

Ruby Lissi is a progressive boutique type hotel in which you use self-checkin/checkout. It is clean and quiet but within easy walking distance to restaurants in the Danube, public transportation, and Stephansdom.
