Basic place to stay but perfect for getting around and clise to sightseeing stuff. No kettle in room but ask and the staff got us one . Staff were very helpful ordered taxi for airport

Beautiful old building with charming old-style rooms even thought recently renovated. Walking distance from the center of Vienna, with many restaurants and cafes nearby. Helpful and friendly staff. The rooms have no air-conditioning and can therefore be very warm at hot weather. The tram passes along the street frequently during the day, but not at night, as you could expect in the center of the city.

A really nice hotel that’s close to everything. Staff was nice and helpful. Nice with a small fridge in the room and a fan during this heat. 10/10 will stay again.

Excellent on a budget
For Vienna this is a very cheap hotel, just look at the UBahn to work out how to get there as it is a little walk from the centre. I found Alser Strabe to be the nearest or you can catch the tram to just outside the university and walk to the hotel from a different direction but all in all, easy to get to. Perfect if you’re on a budget. Rooms are a little dated but it’s clean.

Older buildings but clean, spacious room with comfortable beds. No air conditioning but the large windows cooled the room at night. Helpful staff gave tips, directions and called taxis for us.

overall this place was great, the interiors were beautiful, and it even has an auto-heat rack to dry your towels. It's not too far from the city area where you can walk but if we wanted to go somewhere far using public transportation, it seems you would have to walk a little farther and have to switch transportation. We ended up using Uber most of the time which is still good. Our flight came in really early before the staff came in so we had trouble leaving our luggage. But the staff were handsome and provided friendly service.

This was our first time in Vienna. Hotel was ok. Very dated and cleanliness needs addressing. Stains on linen , pillows and very lump mattresses. Can't comment on breakfast as didn't have. Reception helpful on arrival until change of staff ( unhelpful). Overall average

Great location. Helpful staff. One of the most uncomfortable beds I’ve ever slept on in a hotel and I travel about 6 times a year! Very very soft beds left us all with a sore back. Razor like bed sheets left us all itchy.

Property location was good; room was clean; bed was comfortable. Our first stay we had upgraded double room; we returned 4 days later to basic double room. The basic room was much smaller but was ok for one night.

The WORST mattress I have ever used. The room was not dusted and cleaned, only changed towels and rolled the bed covers. The location was not bad but the beds were just BAD.
