Not worth the money!
This has to be one of the most overpriced hotels for what you get. I have had a nicer room at a Best Western. Room comforts are basic at best. Reception staff did not make you feel welcome. It felt more like you were an imposition to them. Good luck finding parking too. The underground spots are so small, so with a bigger truck or SUV, best to stay out of that area. Service in the Vault Bar was very poor. Waited over 10min to order a beer even though there were only six customers in there. Food is gross and so overpriced it is ridiculous. Would rather drive all the way to Victoria for a good hotel at this price.

This hotel is very beautiful. Sooke has so much natural beauty and the harbour is active yet still calm. A great place to escape to. The town of Sooke doesn’t have a lot to do but the coast toward Port Renfrew has so much to offer. A fantastic home base. I personally loved the cafe. Multiple coffees each day.

We have stayed at the prestige before… It is an absolutely gorgeous location in the beautiful wild and rugged Sooke. Easy access to Victoria. Check in was mediocre, the staff seemed a little aloof and not very helpful. The restaurant has beautiful views of the ocean and staff were amazing… The food was mediocre..not worth the $. Pool was perfect temperature lots of space for play and relaxation and the hot tub was also perfect!

An OK but not amazing stay
My stay was just ok. Not amazing, not horrible. After being placed in a room the first night with a non functioning door lock they did move me to another room for the night. However, I then had to pack back up and move out the next day which was a hassle back to the room with the now repaired lock. That room was not as clean, two light bulbs were burned out that I needed to have replaced. The room was functional, the stay was safe and just ok, nothing memorable or special. Dining and any type of snack or food options is very limited, the little counter service place in the lobby closes by 3pm. Price was high and not exactly "prestige" or "luxury" as the name implies by any means, but it worked.
