Wanted to love this sweet and cute locally owned hotel conveniently located near the harbour. The room was well appointed, amenities good, no extra fees for parking and excellent helpful staff, but as mentioned by a few other guests, the walls are thin and sound can be heard from other rooms. Now normal sounds, no problem. But the hotel has adult films channel, which the drunken neighbouring room was enjoying throughly. Hotels will say ‘set parental controls’ but my kid has already grabbed the remote and checked out the tv/movie platforms as I’m busy unpacking. It’s just tacky at an upscale hotel- period. But especially unfortunate at a hotel that already has noise leakage issues. For this reason, we won’t be back.

It was a bummer that the USB ports didn't work in our room 607 (sorry we forgot to notify front desk when leaving) Should be fixed for other guests but otherwise it was a very nice stay and the staff was exceptional! Would return.

Wonderful staff, very friendly and accommodating. I was put in a king room by the boiler on the 2nd floor which was very loud and they accommodated my request to move and gave me a complimentary upgrade to a large suite on the 9th floor! I travelled with my dog and they were very pet friendly. Complimentary valet service was wonderful when all that was left in the parking garage was a tricky parking spot I couldn’t get into. The hotel is a bit run down/dated but the service was fantastic.

This is an older hotel that has been maintained & is in tip top condition. It has great staff & is located in downtown Victoria, so everything is close by. The restaurant & cocktail lounge was also excellent & we will stay there again.
