We stayed in Verona for 3 nights and had a wonderful time. The apartment is exactly as is seen in the photos - it's charming, compact, very clean and homely. The beds were comfortable and we were extremely happy to have the aircon. It was 36 degrees on our last day. The apartment is in a great location - just a 4 minute walk to the old town (crossing the Pietra bridge) and there are heaps of places to eat nearby. The apartment is also very close to a free car park - which was crucial for us and made life very simple. The only thing that was a bit of a hassle was having to go to the laundromat to do a load of laundry, but we figured that out pretty quickly. Anne was fantastic - she was very easy to communicate with - was very friendly and helpful and everything went very well. We would recommend staying at his apartment - it's excellent.

Elegant apartment in perfect location
We loved our recent stay in Verona at this beautiful apartment. The pictures say it all, this place is beautifully decorated, comfortable and conveniently located to the city center. Gorgeous apartment right near funicular
We spent 3 nights in Verona and loved this apartment, it is just as beautiful as the pictures show. The host was excellent, reached out multiple times before our stay to make sure we had transportation to the apartment (we took a taxi from the train station which was around 18 euros, about 15-20min), and helped book a private car to take us on a day trip to lake garda. I had hoped to just take the train to lake garda but with the distance to the train station it was worth it to book the car. This apt is right by base of funicular, 5 min walk to ponte pietro, 15-20 min to arena. The gelato place that’s 3 min away at the base of the hill was excellent and artisanal (and trust us, with 3 kids over 2 weeks we tasted a lot of gelato). One day we had a casual lunch at the bar across the street which was so reasonably priced and delicious (and full of local regulars which was fun). No washing machine but otherwise had everything we needed to be comfortable. AC worked great, the kids loved their principesse room as I called it. Both bathrooms were comfortable size, beds very comfortable. Would love to stay again.

The location is absolutely brilliant. Lovely little apartment with comfortable beds. The host Anne was so helpful & nothing seemed too much trouble. You can walk everywhere so quickly from here it’s in such a good area.

Fantastic apartment
We had such a great stay at La Dolce Vita. It was our second time staying, the first 5 years ago. The apartment is still immaculate and Anne was so helpful, from arranging airport transfers to assisting us when our flights home were cancelled and were able to stay extra nights. My daughter says it’s one of the most amazing apartments she’s stayed in! The location is great, so near everything but with lovely local shops to get fresh fruit and vegetables when we wanted to eat in. We look forward to returning!

Great stay
This apartment was simply ideal for our 4 days stay. The apartment is exactly as described, very clean, well-equipped. Its location is near the old Verona center and gorgeous Piazza D’Erbbe (only a few minutes by feet). The place is quiet, well-maintained. Perfect for a 5 day stay
The apartment was very well set out and accommodated 2 couples plus our adult daughter very comfortably. The location was a short walking distance from the river and the oldest bridge, there was a laundromat 15 min walk away and plenty of restaurants. We loved the apartment and the city of Verona for its access to lake Garda and even Milan

Beautiful in every way
The apartment itself is beautiful, like Anne herself. The furnishings are gorgeous, the beds comfy and the A/C welcoming after a hot day exploring Verona. It is located in a perfect spot on the quiet side of the river, a block from a free parking lot and two short blocks to the bridge which takes you into the city center. Anne could not have been more accessible or helpful, responding immediately to my every need. It was, indeed, a sweet experience.

A charming place, although a tad bit noisy.
The apartment was furnished beautifully. It was exactly like the photos. The balcony off the main bedroom was a nice place to unwind after a day in the city. The only complaint that we had was the noise of the traffic. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay.

La Dolce Vita is just that!
Our family of four completely enjoyed every aspect of our stay in Anne's charming, cozy, very comfortable and perfectly located flat. Every detail from first communication through departure could not have been more perfect. Entry is with a keypad so our delayed arrival was not stressful. In the morning we woke up to the gift, left for us upon arrival, of a fresh panettone and Nespresso Pods for our coffee. The beds were cozy, the apartment toasty and quiet. With the addition of black out shades sleeping in was a breeze. There was plenty of hot water for showers and plenty of soft towels. As a guide to Verona, our hostess Anne has made a beautiful book with pictures and descriptions of her favorite restaurants etc... she has an exquisite attention to detail. Additionally, the tour guide that she introduced us to was fabulous. We were so happy that we got to visit with her as, not surprisingly, she is warm and charming like the pied-a-terre she has created!

Our Verona apartment was lovely. Very tastefully furnished and central to the town. This is a great place for a family on a short trip to Verona and the surrounding area. Great service from our host who met us there and gave us some very useful tips on amenities in the immediate area. We would recommend this apartment and stay there again.

Really lovely apartment. Beautifully appointed and thoughtfully presented. Lots of great reference material and suggestions for how to make the most of Verona. Great location a short walk from Ponte Pietra and city centre. Cool little cafes delis down the road and funicular up the hill to castle. Free parking about 20m away a bonus. Excellent and helpful host. Couldn’t recommend more highly!

Class, quality and comfort in Verona
La Dolce Vita in Verona distinguishes itself in the everything from the extraordinary quality of things like the sound-proof windows, secure (and decorative) doors, motorized blinds and air conditioning in every room to the comfortable furnishings and decorative touches throughout. Only a block or so from free parking as well as near the pedestrian bridge over the River Adige to the historical center, this location is both convenient and yet outside the pedestrian crush of the old city. This hospitality of the owner and her local representative were exemplary. It's important to note that this apartment has a angolo cottura, or kitchenette - without an oven or dishwasher - so you won't be baking a cake or serving 12 for Christmas dinner here. It does, however, have a microwave, stovetop, 3 different kinds of coffee makers and everything you need to whip up sautéed veggies, a meal of pasta or heat up anything from one of the neighborhood specialty stores at a table for 4. If we ever visit Verona in the future, we would rush to stay here again.

Wonderful return to La Dolce Vita after three year absence.
Anne greeted us warmly and showed us through the Apt. along with her own personal highlights and activities in Verona, and how/where/when. All in her beautiful guide. One highlight was that Anne arranged a day trip to Lake Garda for us with Alberto, a knowledgeable and very safe driver. We had a very memorable stay at La Dolce Vita.

Charming and beautifully maintained apartment in great location
We absolutely loved Anne’s apartment in Verona! It is the perfect size for 3-4 people and has all the comforts of home. We could easily walk to all the sites in the city center and is a quick climb up the hill to see the amazing view over Verona. Anne is a terrific host too! We highly recommend her apartment.

Great property in a great location
Anne was fantastic to work with and she put a lot of love into this property. Every detail is extremely well done. The bed rooms are a very good size, and the bathrooms very efficient. We were only able to stay for a weekend, but we would have loved to stay longer. The proximity to the old town across Ponte Pietra made for a great and quiet refuge, while only taking five minutes to be in the middle of everything. Highly recommend this for a couple seeking a getaway, or a family wanting a little quieter spot.

Anne welcomed us with open arms to an exquisitely decorated apartment in Verona's oldest neighborhood on the hill of San Pietro - dating back to the Neolithic age. If ratings went higher than five-stars, this home would receive every accolade. Everything was perfect for our stay and this La Dolce Vita apartment surpasses anywhere we've stayed in the world- no exaggeration. Thank you Anne for a most memorable trip of a lifetime! P.S. WOW!!! GREAT apartment and location
We can't say enough good things about this apartment. Anne was wonderful from the moment of booking and was even more charming in person. From the moment we entered the apartment we immediately knew we made the right choice. Picture France meets Italy. Anne has thought of everything and her attention to detail is above and beyond. We felt like we entered a 5 star hotel (the bathrooms are nicer than mine at home). We felt completely comfortable and safe (with the high tech door entry) right away. The sitting area was comfortable and inviting after a long day of sightseeing. The location was perfect as well. The apartment is in a very safe location and walking distance to so many things including sights and restaurants. The train station was a cab ride away and we took advantage of this taking the train to Venice for the day. My only regret is that we didn't stay longer. Verona is a beautiful city and this apartment was the perfect place to stay. This apartment is at the top of our list to return to and we look forward to seeing Anne again and spending more time in Verona.

A perfect holiday
Its been over 2 weeks since our holiday but we all still miss Verona and this beautiful apartment. It is everything we wanted from an accommodation - very clean, light and spacious. It was located in a safe and quiet part of the old town but only a few minutes walk into the tourist areas across the very picturesque Ponte Pietra (but we would also recommend the short walk up to Castel San Pietro or to Giusti Gardens). When we were there it was one of the hottest summers on record but the air conditioning and the electric shutters on the windows of the apartment helped to keep the flat cool and gave us great nights sleep. Anne also was a brilliant host picking us up from the station when we arrived and being on hand to help us when needed, whether it was booking taxis or printing off our tickets for the opera. Nothing was too much trouble and she always responded quickly and with a smile. Overall an unforgettable stay in an apartment as beautiful as the city and made extra special by Anne. Thank you.
