This beautiful 1950's home has been lovingly restored and decorated by an interior designer with themed rooms. It's outstanding feature is the beautiful Dade County Pine floors that have been completely refinished in the living room, dining room, hall and both bedrooms. We have owned this home since 2002, but just recently turned it into a vacation rental. The home is generously sized and has a huge back deck with dining table and chairs, lounge chairs and fire pit looking into mature palm and oak trees with a tropical feel.
Location, Location, location! The home faces Osceola Street which has lighted sidewalks into the downtown shopping and restaurant district. You can pick up a free city tram a couple of blocks from the house and never drive or need to look for parking. Downtown art and music festivals are walking distance from the home.

Original bathrooms are small but charming with original tile floors and tile wainscoting both with a shower and tub combo. The master and guest bedroom have king size beds, and the office area has a queen size pull out sofa bed. The home has large walk in closets in the home, including master bedroom, with wood shoe racks and wood storage shelves. Master 18 x 18 and guest room 12 x 12 are also generously sized. Upgraded sheets and towels, two pillows per sleeping guest.
Large eat-in 1950's retro kitchen with recently restored wood lacquered cabinets. All new appliances including refrigerator with ice maker, stove top, wall oven and microwave. Kitchen is fully equipped with blender, mixer, coffee maker, crock pots, bar ware, wine glasses, dinnerware, silverware, cookware, bake ware, china and more. Unfortunately 1950's kitchens did not have dishwashers. Perfect for making breakfast or a quick lunch and enjoy all of the fabulous dining options in downtown and along the river.

But there are 18 public beaches to explore in Martin County alone. It's the Treasure Coast, you can a scour our beaches for all kinds of treasure; the best time to go beach combing for seashells, sea glass or Spanish gold... is during low tide and after storms. We are home to the last remaining House of Refuge, the Hobe Sound National Wildlife Refuge, the St. Lucie Inlet preserve, and Nature's Conservancy, the Blowing Rocks Preserve .
"Enjoy our Good Nature"! We have beautiful parks here and many to choose from. Indian Riverside Park with its Sailfish Splash Park, fishing beach and pier, historic Captain Sewell s home and the Mansion at Tuckahoe, the Children's Museum and the Sailing Center all only 2.4 miles away! You can hike or canoe/kayak at Jonathon Dickens State Park or any of the many waterways and rivers in our area. The Stuart Causeway and boat ramp is only 1.7 miles away. Bring your own boat and explore the area. Sandsprit Park is less than 5 miles and a ten minute drive to a large boat ramp, beautifully recently renovated facilities, picnicking, and fishing, your quickest and most direct access to the inlet by boat and our two most popular sandbars.
Fish, World Class Fishing & Charters! Stuart is the Sailfish Capitol of the World! The Stuart Causeway and boat ramp is only 1.7 miles away. Bring your own boat and explore the area! Visit the sand bars, cruise up the river fishing for tarpon or head out the inlet for dolphin. Reservations for Deep-Sea offshore fishing trips can be made at the Marriott Marina just minutes away.
