Second stay at the Fiddler's rest
We had another great stay for us at the Fiddler's rest. The cabin is beautifully set in a private stetting in the forest. The interior design is colorful and tasteful. The cabin could comfortable host or group of 4 people. The internet connection was great. We would be happy to visit again!

Loved the stars!
This cabin was very cute, CLEAN and clolorful. The blue chairs in the living room were very surprising nice! And the TV worked great. I loved the bedroom-the bed was really comfortable, but I would recommend bringing a sleeping mask, the sun comes in first thing in the AM and it is BRIGHT! The kitchen had everything I needed-but no dishwasher. The location was great. NO traffic whatsoever! My dog had plenty of room to run, and there are trails out back as well. So if hiking is your thing, you dont even have to drive to find a nice spot! The only two things I had trouble with was the 3 steps from the living room to the bedroom, that are painted the same color-which is hard to see in the dark. I also was not thrilled with the outdoor shower. Just not into it. - The communication was great between the host and myself, no complaints. She is at the bottom of the long drive way- so if you need anything, she is right there. At night, we'd sit out back and just marvel at the Milky Way. Beautiful and serene...Just the way we like it. Would definately recommend staying here!

The perfect getaway!
This is our third time at Fiddlers Rest. It is the perfect getaway for a mental reset. The cottage is so cozy and thoughtfully decorated. We brought our dog who enjoys surveying the property from the front porch. The fire pit in the back is the perfect way to end the day with a glass of wine and gorgeous views. We will definitely be back. Thanks for an amazing visit.

We love this place - second time visiting
We enjoyed our stay at Fiddler's Rest last summer we booked another weekend this year. The cabin is so thoughtfully decorated and cozy. Well appointed and nice touches like the fresh wildflowers. We brought our dog and enjoyed coffee in the morning on the front porch and a glass of wine by the fire pit in the evenings. Such a nice relaxing getaway. We will definitely be back.

Could not have been better!!!
This property is fairytale cute, so welcoming and relaxing. We had a beautiful stay in Vermont thanks to this location. And there were surprise puppies on site!!!!! Honestly this was the kind of trip that gives you confidence in vacation rentals. Clean, wonderfully decorated, off the beaten path a truly relaxing stay! Go outside at night!!!! We dont have stars like that in the city.

This place is adorable!
This is the most beautifully decorated place I’ve ever stayed! Every detail is amazing and thoughtful! We brought our dog who had a great time exploring! The claw foot tub was wonderful and the bed was super comfy! Lulu was awesome she came up to help get the wood stove going when we lost power due to a storm but it was restored before the morning! The house has a great setup and feels so roomy! The sky at night was also amazing and there were puppies! The house is super well insulated too so it was a super cozy stay! We can’t wait to come back in the summer to do some exploring and stay longer! We loved this place!

Getaway cottage
We were completely satisfied with our stay. The cottage is warm and welcoming, cozy and clean. It’s located near many hiking trails and one starts from the backyard. We recommend staying here if you’re looking for the perfect, peaceful place.

Wonderful winter getaway
Fiddler’s Rest was exactly what we needed. A cute and characterful pet-friendly cabin in a lovely relaxing and peaceful setting. It was right beside a trail and town forest, and only a short drive from an interesting town with nice cafes and restaurants (Brattleboro). We were hoping to see the local porcupines that several other visitors had noted in the visitors book, but perhaps it was too cold… We will DEFINITELY be back!

The coziest cottage
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Fiddlers Rest. The location is stunning and the cottage is perfect. Coffee on the front porch in the morning and wine by the fire pit in the evening. The cottage is so cozy, thoughtfully decorated, and well appointed. Loved the outdoor shower! The best part is our 4 legged family was able to enjoy it with us. Simply the best!
Wish we could have stayed longer. Beautiful cottage, beautiful setting - everything I could have wished for was provided. This place is as nice as it's photos! Close to Brattleboro and tons of trails and lots of other places to visit or just enjoy being in the cottage itself. I hope we can come back.

Fantastic Long Location
Loved this place. Great location. Remote and very quiet. Large property. Trails close by. Very clean home with all the amenities. Lots of wildlife too! Couldn't ask for a better place.
