The Space:
Rosemont by Tiny Away is situated in the rural town of Verges Creek, just 15 mins from Crescent Head and 35 mins to Port Macquarie. which is recognized as one of the best surf spots in the country. Along with Riverside and Bellingen Markets just a few stones away. It's an ideal escape to disconnect from the monotony of city life and unwind in our charming cabin, complete with a private picturesque tree-lined paddock behind the main residence barn.
A comfortable farm stay accommodation of 139 square feet with easy access to water, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities. The bathroom includes an eco-friendly cassette toilet with a removable waste holding tank, a hand basin, and a gas-heated shower for hot showers.

Guest Access:
Guests will have access to the tiny house, their own paddock with campfire facilities.
Guests will have no access to the host's private residence unless they require medical assistance. For maintenance and repairs, please contact your host via message or call.

Rosemont by Tiny Away is a charming tiny house nestled in the small town of Verges Creek, just 15 minutes from Crescent Head and a 35-minute drive from Port Macquarie in New South Wales. Our local neighbourhood is full of iconic scenery and wetlands, home to a multitude of birds and wildlife including koalas, kangaroos jabirus, black cockatoos, and wallabies.

- Port Macquarie for nice Japanese food at Suzu
- Bellingen Markets every 3rd Saturday of the month, or Kempsey
- Aldi IGA, Woolworths, and Coles are a few of the supermarkets available.
- Gladstone is a charming little village overflowing with creativity, rich history, and vibrant culture. Situated a mere 10-minute drive from bustling markets, shopping centers, delectable cuisine, and more.
Our local favourites for a bite to eat at Gladstone include The Heritage Hotel, The Hub, and Fredericton is just 10 minutes away from the Cheese Factory Garden Restaurant.
- Crescent Head is a picturesque white sand beach that is home to the Crescent Head Malibu Classic, which features world-class surfing talent. Along with the stunning beaches in the region, including Crescent Head Lookout, Goolawah Beach, Killick Beach, and Pebbly Beach.
Our local favourites to get some brunch or dinner at Crescent are Barnett's Bakery The Green Room, Blackfish Cafe, Lumah Restaurant, and The Point Cafe.
For those seeking a taste of the local wine scene, Bucket Brewery Kempsey and Cassegrain Winery are must-visit destinations in the region. Additionally, there are a plethora of charming towns nearby worth exploring, including Port Macquarie, Kempsey, Bellingen, and the picturesque seaside village of South West Rocks.
Getting Around:
By car:
- From Sydney Kempsey is 4 1/2 hrs
- From Kempsey to Rosemont is 10 Mins off freeway.
- 2WD access.
By public transport:
- There is a train from Sydney to Kempsey, and a taxi would be a 10 min drive to Rosemont.
- There is a bus to Crescent Head from Kempsey that takes 20 mins.
- There is a coach to Kempsey also.
Other Things to Note:
- Pets are not allowed
- Firewood provided for free
- No unregistered guests or visitors are allowed
- No smoking allowed inside/outside the tiny house
- No garbage collection; bring your garbage in a trash bag
- Children are welcome under CLOSE ADULT SUPERVISION
- We have friendly dogs on our property, so children are safe
- Telstra, Optus, Vodafone, 2degrees & Spark have weak signal
- We would like to advise guests that longer stays or later check-outs will incur an additional charge
Farm guidelines
- Do not enter horse paddocks without the host's permission
- We advise guests to speak in a low tone as horses are easily startled
- Always remember to shut the gates before entering and leaving the paddocks
- We also ask guests not to feed farm animals as they are on specific diets for their health
Important note:
- Due to the nature of the property, abundant wildlife may be present on the property
- Keep in mind that BBQ grills and outdoor fire pits are not available during a total fire ban
- For stays of 5 nights or more, an additional cleaning fee will be collected to help maintain the cassette toilet and ensure a clean and fresh experience for all guests. We appreciate your understanding.
