Out front on the deck is a lovely canal view that leads to the intercoastal waterway. Convenient, comfortable and affordable. The 3 bedroom and 2 bath cottage is perfect for a solo guest or a couple (1 guest must be 55 as it is age restricted) looking to escape for the winter or early spring, a biking or beach enthusiast or just visiting all that Venice Island offers.

Brand new July 2024! This is a 2023 manufactured home that is set up about 10 steps off the ground, so there are stairs to climb.
All brand new appliances and furnished with common convenience items. 2 Queen bedroom and and one with 2 XL twins.

Sit on the deck with a cup of coffee and enjoy the peaceful canal with birds, turtles, manatee (Jan/Feb) and an occasional boat. Although we are on the canal we don't have a dock or dock access but if you are interested in bringing your boat for the visit, we know neighbors that may rent their dock space for an additional fee. A kayak and boat launch is just on the other side of the canal in Marina Park and Boat ramp on E. Venice Ave.

Biking, jogging or walking is so popular from this location because it is safe and convenient. Right out the backdoor and onto the Legacy Trail and Venice Beach is 2 miles by car and 1.5 miles by bike or walking on the trail. No need for a car once you arrive because there are restaurants, Venice Little Theater, grocery stores, shopping, pharmacy, salons...too many to list within a 1/2 mile radius. Also, Sarasota Emergency Care is on the adjacent property. Convenient and fun all rolled into Paradise Cottage.
