Hotel and services were as promoted in Hotels.com web site. Room and continental breakfast were good. One negative comment is that on their website the hotel list laundry facility, but there is none.

Quiet hotel. The surrounding area seemed like a retirement area. Town was a 15 minute walk away. There are a few food option there. We went to Venice island during the day and in the evening. To get to Venice island was only a 15 minute drive.

The rooms seemed to have been redone. They had multiple different charging outlets. The bathrooms looked updated and were very clean! We wanted to stay in Venice but it was too expensive. The Alexander Hotel was so convent, the tram was a 3 minute walk away and it took you right into Venice. Very easy and convenient! The hotel was also in walking distance of a grocery store, gelato place, a bakery and restaurants. The staff at the front desk were so nice and very helpful! We enjoyed our stay and if we are ever back in the area we will stay there again!

Only 2 minutes walk from the bus stop and 5 minutes walk from the tram, and tram goes straight to vanice 1.50 euro each side .it takes only 15 minutes to reach to vanice Staff was very helpful .gave the right information where to buy tickets etc Breakfast was great including the stay

Hotel Alexander was a great quaint hotel with excellent staff. Rooms were spacious and exactly what we needed for a good nights sleep after 24 hours of travel. The breakfast was the best breakfast included with pricing of rooms I have ever eaten!

Lovely design! Very modern and pretty rooms! Lovely service! Unusal policy for no drinks or food from the ourside, however water was allowed and the prices in the hotel were same as in the restaurants around, so not overcharging for drinks! Definitely highly recommend for anyone staying in Durres!

The staff was very friendly, transportation to Venice was super easy. The breakfast was included and it was fine. The room was okay, standard for a 3 star hotel. It was clean. The bed was thin, pillows were also thin. Again, standard… what we expected for the price. What we didn’t expect was hearing the people next door getting it on at 3 am as if they were in our room. The walls are paper thin! It was disgusting to be woken up to moaning at 3 in the morning. They need to soundproof the rooms.
