Warning, please read this: We bought a couple of Bulgarian lottery tickets and won. Unfortuantely we noticed that a lottery ticket worth 20 Lev has been stolen from the hotel room on the second last day. We did mention this to the reception staff when checking out, and they acted shocked and ensured us that they would contact us via email as soon as they found out more. We believed them as they were friendly throughout our whole stay, but we haven't heard from them ever since (2 weeks ago). We tried to reach out to the hotel but they ignore our emails and don't reply.
This is really unfortunate because their friendliness throught our stay was always a refreshing change from the omnipresent unwelcoming atmosphere in Bulgaria. Up until the second last day, we were sure that we had made a good choice booking this hotel. Whereas the cleaning was far from perfect, the breakfast was okey, the room new and the AC awesome (thus the high overall rating). Only book this hotel if you can hide your money or use the safe, but remember that the hotel also has a key for it. Don't try to contact them afterwards as they won't reply.
Also, make sure to avoid the beach restaurant "Pico" which is right across the street. The staff there is surprisingly rude and tries to scam you.
