Great stay. Location was walking distance from Gastown and Canada Place with plenty of things to do. Short 10-15 minute drive from Granville island/Stanley Park and maybe 20-30min from Capilano Suspension Bridge. However, unless I didn’t know how to work the AC, we didn’t have heat, but also our fault for not asking. Lastly, parking is $25/day if you have a car, but conveniently in the same place as a market and Starbucks, which was awesome to have a block away.

I can imagine the building might be a little loud since it is older, but where we stayed it was quiet. You don't have to use the stairs to enter the building, there is now street access. All rooms are now equipped with bathrooms. Our room was clean and well maintained. We would definitely stay here again

Beautiful heritage hotel with upgraded amenities. Comfy beds and hot, strong shower, perfect after a rainy day in Vancouver. Friendly staff with a nice assortment of water, tea, coffee and apples. Very walkable, I love the location of this hotel!

The Victorian Hotel is a delightful, clean and well appointed boutique hotel with very professional and hospitable staff. It is also in a very convenient location in downtown Vancouver for transport, eating and shopping. The only downside is the number of homeless people living around the area. They are not threatening but sad to observe. Maybe that is a good thing, in that they cannot be ignored by guests.

Staff were very friendly and the hotel itself and rooms are beautiful. Unfortunately the sound proofing is non-existent and the curtains do not make the room blackout at all so we were woken early due to noise and how bright the room was. The pillows were flat and I woke up with a terrible neck and back pain. It’s a beautiful (and affordable) hotel and very well located, very friendly staff and the coffee and water provided was lovely. We just wish the room was darker and quieter and better pillows.

Our only issue with this hotel was the lack of an on site restsurant for breakfast and dining. Other than that it was clean, comfortable and stylish, with very helpful and friendly front desk staff.
