My initial reaction to the general area was surprising, it’s gone downhill. I remember Davie Street being so vibrant and clean and fun, but not these days. The only thing our room had going for it was the size, and the staff were kind/ polite. A full kitchen and additional living room area were both a big plus BUT everything else was GROSS. Too many things broken in each area to even list them all, especially in the bathroom - there was MOLD on the ceiling and walls! Whomever is in charge of maintaining the aesthetics of the building should be fired. Our room, and I’m assuming other rooms as well, are in dire need of a renovation/ upgrade. I should’ve paid an additional $100 pr night for another hotel that would have been cleaner, nicer and well-maintained. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Shame.

First time staying in this hotel, it was a good experience. Fully equipped kitchen, only negative thing to say is the ice machine was broken and would have been nice to have a few salt and pepper packets in the kitchen.

The property is due for a renovation. We got a queen bed, and when we got there, it was two twin beds pushed together. The room was small. We did like all the appliances it had. Made eating convenient. It was worth the view during the Celebration of Light. The parking garage was nice, also convenient. The shower is great. The tv can have more channels to offer. The AC didn't work so well. It was on, and didn't cool the room down. The stay served its purpose.
