We are located in Richmond, 10 minutes from YVR airport.7 minutes drive to Richmond Centre. Cantrell House provided accommodation with a shared lounge and free parking.

Avoid this property
The property and the room stayed was untidy and not clean. The host did not make an effort to provide a nice and clean room for guests. The past good reviews may not be genuine and Stayz should not give this host a high rating. Anyone looking for a B&B in Richmond should avoid staying at this property.

We stayed for two nights. Our room and bathroom were good and the host was friendly . The property advertises a shared kitchen is available but we didn’t feel comfortable using the kitchen with the family that lives there.

Please be aware: This is a family's home. It doesn't say that in the listing and if I had known, I wouldn't have booked it. There were supposedly shared areas like a lounge and kitchen but it felt awkward to use them. Also, in the main areas of the house, there was clutter everywhere. At almost ten at night, a child was practicing keyboard (loudly), doing the same song over and over. The bedroom itself was clean and tidy but overall, I found it to be an uncomfortable experience. It was also quite expensive for what you get.

Very handy for airport. Quiet residential area. Shops & food 10 mins walk away. David let us check in early & kindly put my ice pack (for medication) in family freezer. This is a room in a family home, but family respectful of our privacy.

Firts if all xheck in was supposed to be at 1pm, the only reason i booked this place. When i got there at 1:30pm the host acted like why was i there so early. The room was not clean so i had to wait. The yard and house were a mess, stuff scattered everywhere. I thought about just leaving but i was so tierd from my flight i decided just to suck it up. When i got in the room it had no microwave which it was supposed to have, no cups for coffee. Room was shabby and not very clean and the bed was literally as hard as a rock. A terrible experience, i left at 4am just to get out of there.

Absolutely terrible Such dirt everywhere David was horrible..his wife was good So inhealty dirty mattress were bad so were pillows No water was given There was ground coffee in room but terrible Ifeel cheated by vrbo and wish to get my money back

Host was very friendly and communicative. Room was veryclean and neat with a friendly welcome message waiting for me. Main house and yard are a little cluttered and lived in. Neighborhood is quiet and safe - dense residential with not many commercial amenities nearby, so not a good location for walking to/from.

As advertised and more!
I spent the week at David's listing and could not have been happier with the accommodations. The location was very close to the airport and the check-in instructions were simple and straightforward. David provides a number combination on the touch keypad for entry and each room is provided with its own key for renter security. The room was very clean and comes with free wifi, RokuTV, a desk, full bathroom, and clean linens. Looking forward to staying here next time I find myself in the Vancouver area!

I opened the door and a big dog was standing in front of me. Thanks god I‘m not afraid of dogs. The entrance was one big mess. Shoes and toys and also some garbage all around. The owner showed me my room and was very friendly. The room was clean and the bathroom was nice. The bed was the worst I‘ve ever slept in. It was hard like a rock. The whole house looked like a messy home. Nothing was clean, neither the living room nor the dining room/kitchen. The pictures looked so much better on the internet. I only spent a night there. If I booked more nights I would not have stayed there.
