Excellent staff at any hour of the day; I've received everything I asked from them within minutes whether it be checking in, checking out, general hotel info, or asking for an extra key card for a guest with me. The rooms were clean, amenities simple and useful, house-keeping was straightforward and practically reset our room brand new when we returned from our daily activities. The breakfast buffet was great. The usual choices for breakfast (Minus bacon), but they were tasty and plentiful even after an hour of the buffet starting and the dining area already being packed with guests: We were not left wanting at all. The in-lot underground parking was a treasure; with a locked gate requiring the key card you are given for your room, I had zero worries about the condition of my vehicle during my entire stay.

Hotel was excellent value. It could use minor updates but overall our room was comfortable and very clean. It is not in the location for walking the downtown area of Vancouver but perfect for visiting the PNE, travelling to Whistler or heading to Horseshoe Bay ferry. The breakfast was better than most and available until 11:00 which was very convenient. All the staff were very attentive and they allowed us to park hours before our room was ready so we could walk to the PNE

The room was good and the amenities (i.e. the fitness room and laundry) were good for our needs. The complementary breakfast was good for what was provided. Lastly the parking was very convenient in the lower levels.

I had arranged for an upgrade and paid for early check-in. Upon arrival, I discovered several issues with the assigned suite: the patio door was slightly ajar, there were bird feathers near the door, a pot smoke container, a check-in envelope on the bedroom floor, and a disconnected phone line. I returned to the front desk to request a room change, but the same room type was no longer available. I chose to revert to my original booking. The response from the staff, who merely indicated that the room was listed as clean in the system, seemed inadequate given the situation. Ultimately, we moved to a smaller room, which, while satisfactory, had a non-functional door stopper left unscrewed on the floor. Aside from this, the room was acceptable.

Not worth the money at all
This hotel was very pricey for ehat we actually got. We expected to be wowed and it fell flat. Its a dated hotel that lacks a deep cleaning. Our hotel balconey was dirty with no seating and it faced the road. The sliding glass door allowed all noise to pass through all through the night. The parking garage didn't need a room key. The elevator didnt need a room key. Breakfast was complete but very few options for a gf/df guest. $340 for 1 night was a major fail.

When you hear the term "East Hastings" you may think you're in for a sketchy place to stay. This is not the case here. Clean rooms, nice staff, away from the rougher area, able to quickly access most areas. Ice cold air conditioning if you are roasting in the summer and buffet breakfast(no bacon though) No restaurant or bar in hotel, but Fresh Slice makes NY style pizza across the street and are open until 5am. (Owner gave me his card to call so my pizza was ready by the time I crossed the street) Starbucks, gas station, parking, Asian food, nails, etc... all across the street. If you're a few couples traveling in your late 30's for a wedding but you like a little grit and want quick access to everywhere, this is a great place. I'd rip it again.

Our stay was nice, and it was fairly quiet. Its right next to the PNE and also on a major bus route that goes straight to Waterfront Station and also to the 29th Skytrain Station for Metrotown shopping. I think the Atrium Hotel has a lot of potential for a restaurant/lounge in their unused entertainment space, I hope to see a nicer eating space in the future instead of a communal breakfast room, which was fairly average. The only thing I have to complain about is the hair left behind in certain places. There was a big clump of hair and dirt on the floor, it seemed like the cleaner forgot to sweep up their pile. And hair in the shower, and on the vanity/bathroom counterspace. Not a big deal/easily wiped up, I do think the cleaners need to be a bit more thorough in making sure they’re watching for this but it was clean otherwise. We would stay again.
