This hotel is perfect for a weekend or longer stay with beautifully decorated rooms and easy parking. Everything you need is in your room. Walkable to anything else you might need.

No AC!
The units do not have air conditioning and so we had to sleep with the balcony door open with a box fan running all night. It is right across from a bus depot where there were drunk screaming people and hydraulics from the busses going until 2AM. The bed was pretty uncomfortable too. Very squeaky and lumpy.

I love this hotel! It’s in the perfect location, right in Vail Village. Parking is easily accessible and not as much as others have reported. I believe it was $35 a day. The hotel offers complimentary “Starbucks like” drinks all day long in their lobby from a fancy machine. You can save there to make up for parking costs!! We also loved the pool and hot tub as well (hot tub both indoors and outdoors). It was the perfect spot for our weekend getaway!

We like to stay here - there are three bedroom options for traveling with kids, as well as kitchens. The lodging options vary as they are individually owned but overall, we have found all rooms to be clean and comfortable.

If staying over the pool, then be prepared of lots of noise from people in the pool due to no AC and have to keep all the doors and windows open. It was so loud we could not hear the TV even turned up. I said something to the front desk and she just said am sorry. I should give one star, but it was a very nice place and we like Vail a lot, but being over the pool we will never again.

Patrick was great!!! Front desk not so much… long story short…room was to have Murphy bed and a sofa bed. Front desk even called to ask if we need help with sofa bed. We did so I called back and she stated we never had one and wanted to charge me for a rollaway…finally got rollaway at no charge(?)…we paid for an actual bed! Bad customer service from front desk. Patrick who finally helped with rollaway was awesome! Patrick needs a raise. Front desk does not! And a full refund would be perfect!

The Mountain Haus is centrally located in the town of Vail, within walking distance to many restaurants and activities. The building is clean and well maintained. The condo unit that we stayed in was modern, spacious with comfortable furnishings. Highly recommended!
