Cozy holiday home for 9 people on the water side in Uitwellingerga

The holiday home Marretoer is in a prime location in the lake district of Friesland. The house has a jetty with swimming ladder and a large front and backyard with lots of privacy. Without a bridge, you can sail to the beautiful Frisian lakes within fifteen minutes.

The 9 p.m. accommodation consists of a 7 p.m. holiday home and an attached 2 p. holiday studio.

NEW: CHARGING POLE FOR ELECTRIC CARS

On the water side of the holiday home there are 2 spacious terraces, 1 of which has an outdoor fireplace/BBQ. The large lawn is partly fenced so that little ones and/or dogs stay in the garden. There is also a cozy terrace screened with vegetation on the street side. This way you can enjoy the sun or the shade all day long.

The facade on the water side consists almost entirely of glass. From the living room you have a beautiful view of the water and the spacious garden.

The ground floor has a living room, an open kitchen and an entrance with toilet. All opening windows have mosquito screens. The sun canopies on the ground floor keep the house cool on hot summer days. The kitchen is fully equipped, including kitchen linen.

On the top floor of the holiday home there is sleeping accommodation for 7 people. The master bedroom has a 2p. king size bed and balcony on the water side. In the other 2 bedrooms, one has a 2p. queen size bed, and in the other a 2p. and 1p. bed. The bathroom has a double sink, a bath/shower and a second toilet. There are towels ready for you in the bathroom cabinet. All bedrooms are insulated, have a fan and all opening windows have mosquito screens.

During the summer period it is only possible for guests of the holiday home to rent the adjacent holiday studio. This means that a group of 9 people can stay in both accommodations.

The holiday studio was completely renovated in 2024 and has a lounge area with TV, a kitchen, air conditioning, a sleeping area with king-size bed and an en-suite bathroom. Two people can retreat quietly to the studio. The studio has its own front door and a private terrace and can be rented for a minimum of 3 days. This way you can enjoy a few days or a week of holiday together with your parents, family and friends. The studio is located on the ground floor and is walker-friendly.

The holiday home and studio are equipped with:
free WiFi, 2 TVs, Netflix, a lockable shed to store bicycles, 3 spacious free parking spaces and a charging station for an electric car (charging not included).
The house has a washing machine, dryer and dishwasher.
The studio has air conditioning.

The holiday home and studio are located in a pleasant neighborhood with water sports-minded residents. On the dinghy jetty near the house there is a rowing boat (not during Sneek Week) and a SUP board, free to use by the tenants. Next to the neighborhood, a 5-minute walk away is a tennis court and a natural swimming pool with a beach, beach volleyball court, a sandbox and a playground for the children.

There is a slipway for your own boat with trailer, a 5-minute boat ride from the holiday home. On the aerial photos you can see lakes directly behind the district where the holiday home is located. The Sneekermeer is about a 15-minute boat ride from the Marretoer holiday home.

Uitwellingerga is located near the pleasant water sports town of Sneek with many terraces, restaurants, shops, museums, theater, cinema, fun sights, outdoor concerts, etc. In Friesland there are many summer activities such as Skûtsjesilen, Sneekweek, fierljeppen, the Frisian Balloon Festival in Joure, the 11 -city tour by boat/rowing/SUP/cycling/walking, etc. Extensive information about all activities and sights in the area, such as the Sneeker Waterpoort, the Woudegemaal or Hindelopen, can be viewed before arrival and during your stay via the Marretoer website.
