別所温泉の中松屋旅館はすてきな宿でした
別所温泉は長野県で最も古い温泉で、上田駅からローカル線で約30分のところにあります。規模は大きくないだけに静かで落ち着いた雰囲気のところです。中松屋旅館は300年の歴史を誇る老舗旅館で、温泉街の中心に位置しています。大きな旅館ではありませんが、雰囲気はとてもよく、落ち着いてゆっくりと過ごせます。料理も工夫を凝らしており、おいしくいただきました。温泉は源泉かけ流しで時間を気にせずいつでも入浴できます。館内は部屋を含めて畳み敷で、スリッパを使わずに館内を移動するようになっていたのもアット・ホームな感じでくつろげました。都会の喧騒を離れて、静かなところでくつろぎたい人にはうってつけの温泉旅館かと思います。なお、北向観音は旅館から徒歩1分ほどのところでここもおすすめです。

素朴で暖かいおもてなしの宿
宿の従業員は皆さんとてもフレンドリーでさりげない気配りが大半心地よかった。部屋も隅々まで清掃が行き届いていてとても気持ち良く、食事も私たちにはちょうど良いボリュームで大変美味しかったです。 おかみさんから、中居さん、フロントの担当の方、送迎の運転手さんまで、全員がお客様を心地良くおもてなししようという気持が伝わってきて、嬉しく満ち足りた気持ちで宿を後にしました。 機会があればまた来ようと思う宿でした。

老舗のホテルのようで、設備にはところどころ歴史を感じますが、綺麗にリニューアルされたと思われ、滞在は至って快適でした。散歩に出た外出先から戻ると名前を言わなくても鍵を持って迎えてくれたりと、スタッフの応対は素晴らしかったです。
