Situated on the water's edge of Soliman Bay, with endless views of the Turquoise Blue Caribbean Sea. The perfect place for larger groups of family and friends to enjoy a much-needed Tropical Beach vacation. The Villa is set amongst tropical foliage, Coconut Palm trees, and beautiful white sand. The ocean views and the ocean breeze make lounging in the sunshine so much more enjoyable. Designed to accommodate a large group at the same time offering several options to enjoy some alone time.
Casa Tortuga has the unique benefit of having 2 large lots allowing you not only a spacious well-appointed villa as well as an abundance of outdoor space to enjoy:
• The pool is set amongst beautiful palm trees perfect to relax and enjoy the view of the bay.
• Poolside Loungers to enjoy the sun or shade of one of the beautiful palm trees.
• The beach-level covered patio area with seating.
• The fully equipped outdoor kitchen and dining area that seats 12.
• Beachside Palapa with hammocks.
• Beach loungers to enjoy the afternoon sun or watching the kayakers out in the Bay.
• The Upper level covered veranda with endless views of the turquoise Caribbean Sea.
• We have 2 single 1 double kayaks to use & life vests.
• 2 paddleboards, and some snorkeling equipment such as fins however we recommend you bring your mask, snorkel, and water shoes.
Soliman Bay offers some of the area’s best snorkeling right from the water's edge or use one of the kayaks to go out to the buoy and snorkel by the reef that protects the Bay. Swim with the turtles, enjoy the wide variety of tropical fish, and more.
The Villa’s location is perfect for day trips to the area’s best adventure attractions including Cenotes, Mayan Ruins; diving, snorkeling, and fishing the list is endless. Then come back to the comforts of Casa Tortuga enjoy a home-cooked meal that you prepare in the fully equipped indoor or outdoor kitchen or hire our chef to prepare a gourmet meal for your group. Our staff has excellent reviews, either way, you are sure to enjoy yourself, sit back relax and enjoy. Automatic exterior lighting lights up the property providing a perfect setting to enjoy your evening. A short drive into Tulum to sample some of the best restaurants Mexico has to offer, do a little shopping in all the funky stores, and don’t forget Tulum is famous for its beautiful powdery white sandy beaches and Mayan Ruins.
2 lower-level beachfront bedrooms both with king beds, air-conditioning, supplied bottled water, and private ensuite bathrooms, each with private entrances off the lower beach-level covered patio. Several windows and ceiling fans to enjoy the beautiful ocean views and breeze.
The open great room style upper level has 10-foot ceilings several ceiling fans, a fully equipped kitchen/dining area for 12, an island with raised bar area, a large living room with comfy furniture, a flat-screen HD TV, a main full bathroom with double sinks off the great room area and 2 bedrooms.
Bedroom #1 - two queen beds & double futon (futon can be moved into any bedroom or the open great room living area) Upper Level
Bedroom #2 - king bed, patio door leading to the palapa-covered beach-side veranda. Full ensuite bathroom. Upper Level
Bedroom #5 is located in a separate Casita with a Queen bed, A/C, and a full private bathroom.
Soliman Bay is a private Bay with 24/7 Security
Note: no inside access between the main level and the lower level of the main house.
Chef Service:
Chef service is available for any meal during your stay. You can pay Samuel direct during or prior to our departure he takes cash US or Pesos or Visa (fee applies). As cash is sometimes hard to get especially at the end of your stay you can pay Cheryl via Zelle bank transfer. Please pay Tip separately direct to Samuel. You will be billed during your stay or prior to departure, including all grocery receipts.
Gratuity is not included in the bill.
The cost is per person including a chef and helper who will shop, cook, serve, and clean up. Plus, the cost of groceries.
Extra charge for larger group dinners over 15 guests, weddings, or events. Events must be pre-booked and prepaid through Cheryl
Our kitchen is not set up to accommodate individual meal service so please keep your meal selections to a maximum of 2 main meals & 1 starter for the group.
Vegetarian, gluten-free, and vegan are available by request.

Chef costs:
Breakfast - $100.00 Pesos, Lunch - $100.00, Dinner - $150.00 per person plus the cost of Groceries.
Dinner includes one starter, one main meal, and dessert, for the group. Cocktails are available (margaritas, Coco locos, etc.)
