Quailette offers a cozy space near the UofA, perfect for unwinding after adventuring around Tucson. Dream deep on the comfy queen size bed while the European mini-split style cooling and heating system keeps the temperature just to your liking. The living area is adjacent to the sleeping area and offers a lush loveseat couch and nesting coffee tables. The smart Roku television is ready for you to login to any app you use for streaming your favorite program. Next up is the dining table which seats four, however the chairs can be stacked and set aside if that works best for you. The table is also expandable in the event you need additional work or dining space. The kitchenette is equipt with a small refrigerator w/ freezer, as well as a sink and many small appliances to prepare food or drinks. Note: Traditonal stove/oven NOT included. The bathroom is tastefully renovated as well with a subway tile shower and continued concrete floors. A washer and dryer complete the bathroom space. The outdoor space is something that is unique to the Quailette as most small rental spaces do not have such a large area dedicated to your enjoyment. Complete with a propane gas grill, two sitting areas with patio lights and artificial turf / pavers complete the space. Perfect for your furry travel companion to enjoy (see pet policy)!

LOCATION

Located in the Jefferson Park Historic Neighborhood, Quailette is a short walk or drive to Campbell Avenue’s fine restaurants and coffee shops. Also just blocks north of the University of Arizona main campus, the Banner /University Medical Center, and the University’s Poetry Center. Also a walkable distance to the north terminus of the Tucson modern street car with its route through the University campus and downtown Tucson (5 minute drive and 15 minute walk).

There is a main house on the property that is a vacation rental, the Quail Adobe. As guest privacy is our top priority, the Quailette is totally separated from the Quail Adobe by a tasteful partition fence that will ensure you enjoy your stay. The Quail Adobe is outfitted in the style of the Quailette, including two bedrooms, one bathroom, full kitchen, living room with memory foam pull out sleeper sofa and large backyard. The Quailette can be rented solo or along with the Quail Adobe for larger groups (Quail Adobe: VRBO #1214978).

PET POLICY

Well behaved dogs under 50 lbs with their responsible owners welcome (limit of two dog). We ask that dogs are kenneled when you are not in the home with them and are not permitted to be left outside unattended. If you need a kennel, just ask! - we are happy to provide one during your stay :) Sorry, no cats.

A kitchenette is outfitted with a refrigerator and a microwave. Complimentary wireless internet access keeps you connected, and a Smart television is provided for your entertainment. Weeklong Winter Get-a-Away in Tucson
We loved everything about this space!! Perfect size for the two of us, with all of the amenities we needed to cook, grill, chill, do laundry, etc. It was our first time to Tucson and had no idea where to stay location-wise, and I feel we really lucked out. Located near major east-west and north-south roads, we could easily get where we were going. A major grocery store was just to the north, and the trolley line was just several blocks to the south (which we ended up using a few times). The backyard space was beautiful, and it was very convenient to be able to park just steps from the door. We hope to be back next winter, and we hope that this space is available.

Cute place!
Absolutely love the hummingbirds and cute backyard. Fast wifi. Good location. Very clean. Really appreciated the washer and dryer. My only suggestion might be to change the tall showerhead as the water is really cold by the time it reaches you. Owner was super responsive and very sweet. I would definitely stay here again!

Unique and charming authentic adobe cottage
Quaillette was the perfect spot for me to spend a couple weeks in for my first time in Tucson, where I planned to work remotely and enjoy getting out of the Northeast in winter. I was joined by a family member for part of the time, and it fit us snugly. After scouring accommodation websites, don't think there's anything to compare to the privacy, light, quiet in this space in Tucson proper - you'd have to go farther afield to find such attention to detail, private outdoor space, and the deliberate embrace of southwestern style. After all, this had been an artist's studio. Hadley was completely available and helpful. Location was safe and quiet, and although about a mile walk from the University and the free streetcar. I'd recommend renting a car. Bathroom location at entry was not an issue - worth the quirk in order to have the benefits of this unique little gem.

This is a sweet, well-appointed efficiency that had everything we needed and enough space for two adults (plus a pull-out couch.) The exterior wall is all glass overlooking a pretty, private courtyard with seating. The property is conveniently located a block off a major city street, though the neighborhood itself is purely residential. The host is easily accessible and helpful. We would definitely return!

We enjoyed our time in the Quailette however the set up is a bit awkward with the entrance to the apartment opening directly into the restroom. There is no privacy in the privy. Clean, well stocked and well maintained. The check-in and check-out process was easy and understandable. Nice location.

Charming light filled studio
We had everything we needed at this charming studio in a centrally located historic neighborhood. Loved the wall of windows, the adobe fireplace, the small yet completely functional kitchen, the private yard draped in string lights. It was a perfect place from which to remote work and see a little bit of Tucson.

What a great little casita
Had such a great trip staying here. Perfect for a couple (and their dog children). private yard was great for sipping coffee in the morning, or grilling steaks in the evening. just loved the vibe of the place. kitchen was minimal (mini fridge, hot plate, microwave, toaster oven, electric kettle) but suited us just fine. Next time we pass through, we will certainly book it again. I'm missing it already. Thanks for a great trip!
