The Lodge on the Desert is Great!
We stayed here again since it is peaceful and the rooms are nice. Our daughter was moving back to U of A so that's why we made the trip out. It would be good to have an extra blanket in the closet because it can get cold with the air on (so if my husband likes it freezing, I can at least layer). No blankets and the summer covers were super thin. That was the only issue. By far the best hotel we've stayed at in the area and we will book again soon.

I loved staying at the Lodge on the Desert. Absolutely gorgeous! The only complaint I had was-no microwave. I requested one but I guess they didn't have one to spare.

I enjoy this quaint boutique hotel. It's conveniently located in central Tucson. It's east to get to from the airport. It has a nice restaurant with great food. It's not a big resort that is overly populated. They offer great service and I love the adobe style decor.

We love the classic SW beauty of this property, and have always had a good experience with the staff, the little bar/restaurant area, and the beautiful accommodations (comfortable beds and a truly exceptional shower). Our feedback from this visit is that, at least in our room (the 150-160 block), the A/C was not nearly up to the task of taming a 100 degree Arizona summer night (We had previously only visited this property in the winter months and hadn't even considered that). We made do, but had to move the bed across the room to be closer to the A/C. If you're an older or more temperature-sensitive guest, I'd recommend the property when the daytime weather is in the high 80's or lower.
