The Space:
This lovely stone cottage is situated in the pretty village of Penhallow and close to some of North Cornwall's best beaches. Inside, the property has been decorated with a blend of modern and traditional features. There are exposed beams and stone walls throughout, whilst the light decor gives the cottage a cosy feeling. This is a brilliant base for families who are looking to explore North Cornwall's beautiful coastline.
Downstairs, the kitchen, dining room and living room are all open plan. There is an electric wood-burner for cooler evenings, as well as a farmhouse dining table and plenty of modern appliances in the kitchen. Through a set of French doors, you'll find a well-maintained communal garden with garden bench and table. Please note that the garden is not completely enclosed for dogs. Upstairs, the cottage has two bedrooms - one with a king-sized bed and another a twin setup. Both share a family bathroom with a bath and shower. Dogs are welcome with a fee of £20/dog (max 2). It is on the condition they are not allowed upstairs, on the soft furnishings or in the bedrooms. One free private parking space is provided.

The Neighborhood:
The cottage is situated in the pretty village of Penhallow, but you're just over a mile away from the bustling seaside town of Perranporth. The beach boasts over 3 miles of sand and brilliant surf, and is RNLI life guarded throughout the year. The town itself has a great array of pubs, restaurants and cafes should you wish to dine out on your stay. Alternatively, there is a local pub just 5-minutes walk away. One of the highlights of the cottage is that you're in a prime spot to venture out onto the South West Coastal Path. To the south is St Agnes, a gorgeous village and beach, and to the north is Newquay and Fistral Beach. There are ample activities to enjoy on your stay; whether it's relaxing on the beach or conquering a beautiful hike.
Getting Around:
We would suggest you travel by car to experience the best of this area. There is one free parking space and ample off road parking close to the cottage. If you are travelling by public transport, Newquay train station has regular trains running to and from London Paddington. From here, it is a 15-minute drive to the cottage or you can catch a local bus to Perranporth.
